Visited for Sunday roast and we both had the Pork. It was amazing. Lots of roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, roasted veg, greens. The apple sauce and stuffing was lush. It was a big size lunch and everything was very tasty and seasoned well. I had the homemade presecco and blueberry cheesecake, it was extremely yummy and a big portion. As you enter The Village the warm friendly atmosphere hits you immediately. Seated (big comfy seats too) straight away as we’d booked. Bottle of cold water waiting for us. They also have a little sweet shop pick n mix type. We travelled from Redditch to visit and it was totally worth it. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Lee for the recommendations food wise. Will definitely be back soon.

I had my 40th party here in November. From when I booked it in July the management had changed over, the team did there best to honour all prior agreements. I was very anxious as the menu had changed and (no fault of there own) I was unable to have the glass house area for my party, but they let us use the restaurant which was like lovely. The team were very kind and accommodating food was lovely, cocktails where great too and everyone had a lovely night. We had a mixture of a ages including children and all were welcome. Thank you all especially Lee and Carrie x

Absolutely brilliant place, first visit for my partner and myself. Just had a new head chef from what I heard and they are fantastic! The lamb shank was to die for! The decor is beautiful and quirky. Would highly recommend it to anyone I know

Our fave retreat! Been to the village moseley countless times! The food is just 👌🏼 the decor and ambience is always welcoming, relaxing and a feel good positive. It seems a little understaffed at times, but the staff that do work are faultless. Cant wait for our next visit!

Lovely venue. Free parking at the front and rear for about 25 cars. You must enter your vehicle reg at the bar area digital screen for this to be free. Draught beets around £4.50, town prices are £6.50 so great deals here. A huge restaurant area, well lit, plenty of tables for couples, groups, and larger families. Kid friendly. Disabled access at rear with a disabled toilet on the ground floor. The food adequately priced. I had a Mediterranean Pizza for £13.00. I was hesitant, though it was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Give this a go. It's definitely one of the nicest and more upmarket venues in Moseley.

We had a delightful afternoon tea at the village for a 40 year reunion. We were set up in a corner area that allowed us to have privacy but still have the atmosphere of the pub. The table was set with a glorious spread with vegan options. The staff were very attentive and a great time was had by all. Well done ! Thank you to Marta for making the organising so easy x

Came in yesterday for some food with the mrs, Sunday dinners are hit and miss most places but this was incredible, the meat was tender, the veg was hot and crispy (good way) and a big old yorkie on top. Service wise, Kelly was absolute gold, hilarious but professional at the same time, got us anything we asked for even when dealing with some absolute divs next to us. A real credit to the business without trying. Coming back soon thank you very much to the chefs and servers.

Lovely pub restaurant which let us bring in our dog to a quiet corner where he could settle. The kitchen also accommodated our dietary requirements (no lactose/dairy and pork). The food was really tasty and delivered hot and generously sized. Really warm and inviting atmosphere. Free parking for patrons if they input their reg in the bar area (don't make the mistake I made and pay for parking!!).

Such a lovely place to have dinner! Came down with our little chihuahua so a very doggy friendly which is also a massive bonus. Food was presented very well and very tasty. Service was brilliant - massive thank you to Kelly who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Never judge a pub by its exterior. The Village is a case in point. It may look unimposing, open the door and prepared to be dazzled. I love the modern well-lit, spacious, high-ceiling interior. The bar counter is central to this space, a seamless separator between the bar and restaurant. The restaurant is cozy. I love the comfy, cushioned booths that are spread around the interior. Service is professional and caring. There timing of food delivery and questions was perfect. The food selection maybe British, but has enough variation and breadth in ingredients to be interesting. I opted for a vegan selection: sweet potato croquette, jackfruit pizza and sweet potato shepherds pie. The croquettes were presented beautifully. The pizza was a textural showcase. The pie was hearty and flavoursome. The Village is so cool and comfortable. It’s definitely recommend for any social occasion.

Lovely food. I had the brisket burger, and it was actually hot. How many time do you go to a restaurant and the food comes out warm, and you think "how long has that been out on the side?". Not here, the food was hot, fresh and plentiful. The pudding was equally cracking. The sticky toffee pudding, again, was hot, very filling and I couldn't finish it. Staff were polite throughout and were happy to help and go the extra mile. Even asking about dietary requirements (and on that note there were clear options noted as being suitable for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarians). Birmingham is a great city, woth lots of food places in the centre, but this restaurant that sits in Moseley is worth a visit.

Amazing food with lots of choice on the menu, great decoration and really clean modern vibe! Staff a little unorganised but very friendly and helpful. A wonderfully relaxed evening with family. Lots of spacious seating with outdoor areas.

Lovely place. The food was really nice. The waiting staff were super polite too. They are taking active measures to keep the place COVID-safe: took our temperature upon arrival before taking us to our table and had lots of stations with hand sanitizer. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too. There is paid parking around the back.

🥩 The Village, Moseley - Friendly staff, Great food, Chic decor The newly refurbished @villagemoseley is all of the above and much more. - We were invited to try out the new @villagemoseley over half term. We decided to go for lunch and have three courses plus drinks. The menu is simple but full of many great sounding dishes. The new decor looks great with tables and booths plus a log burner for those cold winter months. - For starters we went for the Meat Platter which was massive and perfect for sharing, the Manchego cheese on the platter was fantastic. The other starters was the Crab Bruschetta which is a starter for one but again is large and could have been a sharing dish. Both have a gluten free option. The Platter was £18 and the Bruschetta £7.50 - Everyone should definitely get down to @villagemoseley for the good food and drink, live music and sports and different offers every day, swipe for the daily offers.

The parking is cash only and doesn't take notes, fortunately the staff inside were helpful and gave me change, and the cost was reimbursed with the food order. Pleasant place to sit and spend a lunch time, food was really nice, menu isn't ridiculously large but decent variety between pub classics and something different. We shared a starter, we had a burger and a sandwich with 2 pints of soft drink which came to ~£35, so a bit pricy especially for a weekday lunch. Slight negative was the choice of music, it was loud and and decidedly middle of the road, it just kind of grated. Staff were attentive, nice and helpful without being over the top.
