Being a local lass you guys did me proud. My job was to organize a venue for a group of girls who were to meet up after our wonderful trip to Hunza a few months ago, they were coming from all over England. What can I say the girls loved the food, with great service and friendly staff. At no point in our five hour stay we were hurried. It was my recommendation to attend and you guys did me proud. Thank you

Al Faisals has, been our "regular" for the past five years, and we love it. The staff are helpful and friendly, the kitchens are clean - and in constant view- and the food is deeelish. I don't eat meat, so my experience is limited to the meat-free options, but I've never been disappointed.

Generally really good food for reasonable price. Don’t go to near to closing time though as service declines.

What a lovely classic place to eat. The staff are so helpful and attentive! They served us free pompadour and dips. The food was so yummy we couldn’t even finish the food. My second time visiting this lovely place and won’t be my last. 👍🏾

We were made comfortable the moment we stepped in. The owner's grandson was there and he was very helpful as I had some issues with my phone. Food was excellent, on time and really delicious. The ambience was calm, relaxing and enjoyable. The tea I had there was one of the best I had in months. Great work guys, keep up the good work.

This was my first “eat out” curry back in 1982. I have been an infrequent visitor since - mainly as I live far away. The next generation of the family have taken the restaurant to the next level - still true to its roots but up-to-date. Great lunch and food had a Desi kick delicious 😋

We had the function room upstairs. So the atmosphere was not in the restaurant control. But it's very nice small function room. The food is good.

Great food, though the whole chicken was extraordinary dry. Probably a day or two cold, or maybe left on the grill for a tad too long. Food arrived in a timely manner. Servers were mindful and helpful! Al-Faisal's is our go-to place for a decent sit-down meal, and usually never a disappointment. Advice - take the whole chicken off of the menu. And.... What's with the 10% service charge? This is Sparkhill/Balsall Heath, not Knightsbridge!! A little pricey but enjoyable.

Booked a table very last minute for iftar with the family and service was amazing, had fruit and drinks to open our fasts with and food came very quickly, large portions, fresh and great prices. Amazing customer service will go again :)

Firstly, I want to start off by saying that the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Excellent service. One staff member took the time to talk to me as I was waiting for my associate to turn up. The atmosphere was brilliant. Beautiful interior and very clean too. Food was delicious, menu items were explained what they were. Ample space for parking so had no issues, considering it's on the main road. They also cater for parties. All in all, had a great experience and would definitely be going again.

We were greeted with papadoms and a variety of sauces including chutney, mango, pickled achaar. The large mix grill had a variety of meat with kebab, chicken, wings and lamb chops which were tasty. Tried the lamb karahi, chicken karahi and ghoust saag. All curries were flavourful with a decent amount of spice, which I enjoyed as it was a good level of spice for me personally. If you are a fan of spicy spicy food, this probably won’t hit the spot. Best naans I have ever had! Recommend opting for these. They are amazingly soft. I loved the mango lassi, sweetness to compliment my meal. Chips were over fried. Beautiful interior, clean toilets and good customer service.

Just had a delicious balti meal here. The best poppadoms and pickles ever and a delicious paneer Makhani and garlic naan bread.

Very nice balti and food. Great waiters. It would be great if the restaurant replaced Coke, Fanta, Appletiser and 7up with alternatives to stop supporting companies that support the genocide in Palestine. This would help their commitment to social responsibility.

One of my long time favourites. Haven't come regularly for a long time but last night was as good as ever. Still run by the same family and, in fact, the father was in last night. He remembered us and was polite enough to come over and talk to us. Restaurant is run by the sons and it was good to see that they are well in control here front of house and in the kitchen. Menu has a contemporary feel about it (you don't get a book with 500 choices) but there is plenty of choice and it is authentic in taste. We had starters and main which was plenty and they do allow bring your own drink. It's a little smarter than some more typical restaurants around here and the service is good. They have a full choice of fresh fruit drinks and mocktails. Clientele is quite varied from groups of young women to families and then larger parties. Not too busy this Saturday and no function upstairs otherwise it can get very loud. Open kitchen means you can see how hard they are working and that food is freshly prepared. There is a small public car park opposite (free) but you'll be lucky to find space on a busy evening. Like many, we are always drawn to our favourite dishes. Here they do the classics well, bhuna, karahi, keema and lamb saag are always among our choices.

We got there at 5 30 pm, so it wasn't busy. The staff was absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough. As for food, we had chicken taktak, aloo gobi, and mushroom curries. I personally was disappointed with the aloo gobi. There were three pieces of cauliflower, a few pieces of potatoes, and lots of sauce. I didn't enjoy it at all, taste utterly distorted and too "wet" for aloo gobi. Reason for not complaining was, company was staff improvised enough before during and after (large mugs as opposed to wee cup's for tea) our meal. Peshawari naan are a must and best in Birmingham.
