Come every few weeks. Beautiful understanding staff even if there is a slight wait on the food. Always worth that little wait even just to see the happy faces.
Was in Birmingham visiting my bro, has he lived down the road we popped into the Selly park tavern for a few beers and while there had some food , gotta say food was excellent and beer was great too, great atmosphere and good service, would recommend going there if your in the area.

Went in with some friends for the first time and had a really great experience. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Only had drinks, was served by a very smiley girl and a guy who looked like the manager. Def coming back here again!
Was there on Friday night with my family....we loved it!...delicious food/fair price/fabulous atmosphere and polite friendly staff....keep all those and you have a winning formula!�loved it we went back with our sons yesterday for some foodies!..
Visited a couple of years ago and typical pub food. I'd recommend for lunch or an informal dinner but nothing special. Food times were quite long but the same as most local pub food places.
I have been going to the Tavern since arriving in Birmingham and have enjoyed it everytime. The staff is always very helpful and the place has a great ambience and atmosphere. They are also pet friendly so you might get lucky and see a dog one day! Food is very good and would highly recommend. Cocktails are also amazing and are less expensive if you buy two.
Been here a few times, but notably with a party of 5 blind folks, and the service and food was amazing! Jen is a great host and was incredible at managing everything!!!
Went to Selly Park Tavern for breakfast. It was very cosy and warm. We sat by a fire. They accommodated for our allergies. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was quick and tasty. They were very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the local area. Will definitely be returning.
Having been to this pub a fair few times, (we don't get to get out much), but this will always be our go to place. Frank is amazing. He literally cannot do enough to please and help you. With his calm, happy, and friendly demeanour, he's a really sound gentleman! Collete and Frank look after is brilliantly, and we appreciate the lovely environment they create at the Tavern. Mum and I are thankful for the lovely experience we have each time get to visit. Excellent choice of food, and drinks are spot on! Thanks guys!
Food was great service was good but slower than normal.
Warm welcome, helpful staff, good food, reasonable price. Really helpful with gluten free diet, and very accommodating for a large group all ordering separately. And you can use your blue light card here! Thank you
Good location and they were able to do a last minute large group booking which we were thankful for. Food was good and the staff were pleasant and ensureed everyone had what they wanted.

We went for an Ubu & Coors while browsing the menu, in a nice quiet corner of the pub. Lovely decor and a nice fire to keep warm. We decided on the seabass each, with lemon butter and a side of cauliflower cheese and steamed greens. Very tasty and great value for money! Food arrived within 15 minutes and was delicious. We did have to ask for cutlery at the bar after our food arrived, but not a big deal at all. Will love to visit again when in the area.
Lovely food and friendly staff, will certainly go back when I am in the area.

I, and in fact everyone of the 6 in our party thoroughly enjoyed the meal at the Selly Park Tavern. Most of us had different platters of lunch and it all was superb, well cooked, served nicely and in time for everyone to eat together. The only thing was they didn't clear the table once we had finished with bottles and gravy boats which made it awkward because the table quickly filled up
with stuff that was finished with. That said, I can't fault the meal or the room or the atmosphere of the dining rooms.
