Lovely pub, extremely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend to visitors to Birmingham who are looking for home cooked food in a good traditional pub.
Great food really enjoyed our weekend away at the bull, staff very friendly walking distance to the bullring would recommend
It is said that you don’t get “real pubs” any more; well those that say that have never been to The Bull.
Friendly staff, spotless surroundings and a well kept cellar.
One of the best Pubs in Birmingham. Warm welcome, great beer, and homestyle food. I cant wait to go back.

Lovely pub.nice welcome.nice food. Will definitely go back
Excellent food and drinks in a warm and friendly atmosphere. No musak or jukebox. A traditional English Inn, run, of course by a wonderful Irishwoman!
Brilliant pub! Great atmosphere and just a proper old school boozer.
Friendly and full of character. Nice beer and pleasant company.
Great find loved it great food and friendly will be back
A smashing rub a dub. Well worth a visit. Good guest beers and friendly atmosphere.
This is a brilliant pub. It’s a classic, old-style pub that has a community of regulars and exemplifies how pubs used to be! The bar tender was welcoming, friendly, sociable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the drinks. The resident cat (of 16 years!) was a welcome edition. Never before have I been to a pub with a cat, and it brought me joy! For food I had the jacket potato with cheese and beans. This I thought was a reasonable price on balance of the quality and the atmosphere, however I would prefer to see more vegetarian mains if possible. The jacket itself, however, did not disappoint - it was thinly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the portion size was generous, including the side salad. The toilets were clean and clientele friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit and hope to re-visit myself when back in Birmingham!
N9t an easy place to find, but as back-steeet locals go, it's well worth seeking out. The staff and punters were all very friendly, while the beer choice was good and well kept. We didn't take any rooms, b7t if we had, I'm sure they'd have been as good as the pub itself.
Very nice little pub in Birmingham. Thr best part is by far the atmosphere and the feeling of genuine pub. You can eat, drink, spend some time and just enjoy the local feeling and history of the town in this place.
Historic pub in the Gunmakers Quarter. Centuries of gun trade workers, high/low brow customers have enjoyed a drink and meal here. History oozes from the walls. Good selection of draught and cask beers. Pub menu with some slight and enjoyable twists. Quiet, laidback vibe. Just come, have a pint and soak the history.
Lovely old fashioned pub. For Birmingham, not bad prices but still generally pricey. It is close to the city centre. Also has a pub cat for the cat people
Excellent real ales. Birmingham camra pub of the year. Food was first class I had chilli, chips and salad. Superb and timely delivery on a very busy day. Great jugs collection.
One of the best pubs in Brum. Great selection of well kept beers. Friendly atmosphere.
Good beer & food. Rooms nothing special but priced accordingly. Great value stay for only being 15 minutes walk from centre of Birmingham
Great little traditional pub in the heart of the city. Nice drinks, great food, and an adorable pub cat, who is very friendly, and loves a nice coat to snuggle up on 😺😺😺
Visited this lovely pub for the first time yesterday. Very friendly clientele, will definitely be back next year to sample more of the quality beers on offer.
