This place has amazing coffee, the staff never fail to disappoint. There's plenty of plugs too so it's great for people with laptops. They have a great light selection of food and snacks too which makes it a really comfortable place to just sit and relax for a few hours.

Amazing, Aromatic, Smooth. There’s not much to be said. I had the caramel and coconut late which was so silky and the best coffee I’ve ever had! However I realised that there was a service barrier between the staff and customers. A self service system was at the entry which was not quite visible, since it was my first time at the place. However I believe that if the business operated in such way it will allow for more customer service and better communication. Regardless, I was served by a staff member who made my drink. 100% recommend, the place is a calm environment to sit down and do some work or in general chill out. One thing however I did not understand was that they provide a regular size drink or large size. I believe that it was quite uncommon compared to other places I’ve been in the neighborhood, but overall great. The place is quite busy some times so beware!

A lovely place renovated and extended last year. Excellent service. Kind staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good range of coffees and desserts. Cherry Mocha is a beauty and they do have a few gluten free options which is very considerate. Only complaint is the size of the cake slices is pretty small considering its £3 per slice. (The Chocolate Orange slice is literally three bites.)

This is one the best coffee shops in Birmingham. I visit almost every day. Amazing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and good at what they do. Carter, one of the shift managers is very hardworking and tries his best to deliver a top tier service. This is a very busy shop in the heart of Moseley village. The owners are very professional and accommodating. And best of all, the coffee is out of this world!

One of only 2 places in Birmingham I’d give a 5 star rating to on coffee quality alone. Coffee is absolutely superb. Didn’t do a trial testing of the espresso but had sweeter options of a Spanish latte and a dalgona coffee and they were both faultless. Raspberry & Honeycomb Tiffin that accompanied my coffee was amazing. Service by the staff (every single member) was incredible and the ambience and decor of the place was a cherry on top. If it wasn’t out of the way for me to get to , I’ll be here a lot more often

Java Roastery feels more like a Coffee#1 than a Faculty or Saint Kitchen. Loads of seating, inside and out. Bright, airy, contemporary. The coffee is superb. The service is professional. The best thing is, it's located smack bang in the centre of Moseley Village.

Great coffee shop and eatery on a day visit to Moseley to try independent coffee shops ! The staff were extremely friendly / coffee was great quality and tasty blend . They had gluten free cake options and vegan cake options which was great , but only one that was ‘ dairy & gluten free’, which was the chocolate brownie . This was excellent, but this was not labelled as ‘ gluten and dairy free ‘, so could of easily missed out and labelling could be better, . Staff were more than happy to help and has a really great vibe, Will definatelly visit again . Thanks guys

Such a lovely cafe, the drinks are always amazing. I order a chai latte with a bakewell slice and both were really nice. It's always pretty busy and has a really nice atmosphere. The toilet facilities are really good too and kept clean.

One of the best coffee shops I have visited. Modern spacious and well lit. Food and drinks exceptional. If I lived close by I would visit everyday. As compared to other chains this is one of the top ones I have visited so far. I have been to many coffee shops big chains and small independents but nothing this good. Setting the best example! Coffee taste excellent and staff very friendly polite. Good manners

It's a great location with excellent coffee and views. They have a numbering system which is a bit school canteen - they shout out the orders. I do prefer orders to be delivered rather than having to listen for number sequences..

Great place to sit and meet your friends. As I did. Our little group had cold drinks and I had a hot sandwich. I enjoyed the food, a little pricey at just under £5. Forgot to take a picture, next time! As I do like the chilled atmosphere. People of all ages were using the space which I really liked. Some sat alone doing work also. Toilets, one of each. I used one that appeared clean. If you're driving, parking can be found up the road on the opposite side, near the bus stop heading away from the city centre. Later in the evening you can park along the road outside the premises,if you can find a space. If you're using buses, the bus stops right outside. There are plenty of outside seating and cafe tables available. The staff were very friendly and engaging. They left you to enjoy the space with friends or when alone. It was a good experience and one I'd recommend and like to repeat.

What a fantastic spot in the South of Birmingham in Moseley Village. A coffee cafe and supplier for coffee, excellent customer service and amazing ambiance whether you want a coffee or a selection of sugar fixes. One of my favourite coffee shops in Birmingham and my go to for coffee at lunchtime everyday. They have a really nice blend of coffee and the service is always quick and friendly. It does seem pricey at first but when you compare to other coffee shops in Birmingham its really not pricey plus the quality is really good Definitely recommend if you are in Birmingham.

Visited this place after someone else's recommendation. I needed a nice quiet place to get some work done. I was here from 9am till 4pm. The staff was super nice and had no issues with me being there all day. I had some lovely breakfast and decent coffee too; although the speciality drinks were average so I'd stay away from them. The cortado was lovely and that's what I would get again.

I called in for a coffee. I was told my order number would be called. I explained that I can't hear. The gentleman serving made sure I knew my drink was ready. Small things like this are really important. Thank you Java. I didn't have any food hence I didn't give a rating but it looked good!
