A great little gem of a coffee shop! The coffee, atmosphere and service were all fantastic. I highly recommend no1 on the food menu.

A lovely cafe! Really authentic, beautifully prepared food and delicious coffee, full of flavour and home roasted - absolutely spot on! Like stepping straight back into Jakarta! Lovely staff doing a fantastic job, a truly great experience. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.
I popped in today for a quick lunch. It’s wonderful, really authentic, modern and fresh. Worth coming to.
A really great cafe for authentic Indonesian food and incredible coffee.
The cafe is spacious and comfortable and the service is friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee they’re serving.
Definitely recommend this spot for brunch or lunch.
A hidden gem. The coffee is especially good - smooth and flavoursome. The food is also tasty and we especially love the variety. Very friendly service and a fantastic vibe. Will certainly come back again!
Deliciously authentic Indonesian food! The spice level is perfect for anyone who enjoys a kick but doesn’t want it too hot.
If you’re an Asian spice lover, can definitely ask for extra spice.
The beef is scrumptiously flavoured and has a lovely bite to it.
Came in the afternoon time (04/03/2024) for a wee taste of an Indonesian meal. Was not disappointed on how homely the meal tasted. We order the rendang (beef) and the ayam (chicken) penyet meal. It tasted amazing… I loved how the elements of dishes compliment one another. The sambal was tasty, at times where it was spread on the chicken and rice, the oil and spices were absorbed well. The rendang, it was amazing. The instant you mix the sambal, salads, and rice together, you’d be presented with a burst of flavor. 5 star for the food. In addition, the taro latte was beautifully presented. Thank you for the food and drink.
The food experiences aside, the front of house (FoH) was not welcoming at all. I came in with the expectation to introduce the Indonesian cuisine and culture to my Pakistani friend. The moment I came in, I would expect at least the warm hospitality from the staff. This was not present at all that time. Giving off a vibe that was unpleasant (no smile and was not facilitating with questions).
At the end of my visit, I wanted to say goodbye to the cook (because she was Indonesian and it would be nice to great a fellow Indonesian and speak the language); also I wanted to directly compliment her on the food. Yet, I was not allowed, while the FoH says “the order were behind”. I totally get that work is work, but the shop was not busy at all (ranging around 5 costumers) and the conversation would not be any longer that 2 minutes to have. It just did not feel nice.
Just sharing my experience on the place. Thank you again for the great food.
It's very Indonesian! The food tastes really good and authenic. They gave sambal generously. The place is clean and comfy.
Had Indonesian Fried Rice with iced Indonesian milk tea (Teh Tarik). Overall it's decent.
Fried rice was hot and well seasoned, the spice was on point. Would expect the rice to be more separated instead of bit sticky.
Teh Tarik is alright, not too sweet which is good.
The café is cozy, with sufficient natural light.
Excellent! The menu offers a variety of options; light meals, desserts, mains, vegan. The service is quick and staff is friendly. Place is chill and ideal for a brunch or coffee. Price are more than reasonable. Definitely worth checking out!
Here is a hidden gem cafe restaurant that serves amazing authentic Indonesian food. The cozy ambiance created a warm atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a delightful meal.
The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to assist with recommendations added to the overall enjoyment of the visit.
The coffee served here was also excellent, complementing the flavors of the Indonesian dishes perfectly. I highly recommend trying the Bebek Penyet and Nasi Padang. The Bebek Penyet was tender and flavorful, while the Nasi Padang offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes that satisfied my craving for authentic Indonesian flavors.
In conclusion, this hidden gem cafe restaurant not only offers exceptional Indonesian cuisine but also provides a cozy ambiance and friendly staff that make it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Indonesian dining experience.

The cafe is small but packed and you see more Indonesian natives - which is a good sign.
