I love buffets because I don’t have to face a long time waiting for my food. The stations are pretty cool , we can ask to cook certain foods right in front of us. Nice envie Nice place. Free parking available around the corner
Jimmy spices is one of the affordable Indian restaurants in Birmingham. I like all buffet cuisine. Especially dosa, Chaat, fried fish, pizza and dessert.
Went to jimmy spices last week. It was an awesome experience. I went for lunch and the price was affordable. Cool cozy place to have food. Large and comfy. The food was also good. I went there because i wanted to eat indian food. And it was upto our expectations. The desserts were also yum. We were looking for gulab jamun but ended up with carrot halwa.. overall experience was good. Will definitely revisit to have more tasty food.
Jimmy spices was the first restaurant I landed on .
It's a Indian buffet restaurant with lot of options in starters , main course as well as in deserts . I have been having my dinner here daily from past 10 days and hence the best part is , it is not expensive at all .
The variety of food that jimmy serve is unmatchable. You have options from noodles to pasta then fried rich , fried chicken, Thai chicken etc . It indeed is an epitome of quantity and variety.
The ambience is very decent with all different live counters and buffet spread.
The desert counter is not that interesting. Looking at the options they have in starters and main course, the desert has very less options .
Overall, it's a decent pick with a wide range of food options!!
A lovely place for some good Indian Food. Appealing ambience and a lot of variety in their food menu. A good place for a good filling meal and good service too.
Nice ambience and good food which you would to have always. Worth for money you spend here. I loved their wide variety of cuisines. It's good for spending time with family and friends.

All you can eat buffets have come a long way and Jimmy Spices has been on top of it since the very beginning.
Serving a hearty mix of primarily South Asian flavours with the occasional continental addition, the self service model works well because it firstly allows for some basic exercise between bites but also gives the customer a vast variety to choose from, something that usually isn't possible.
The food is freshly made and updated regularly and comprises of enough variety to satisfy the health conscious and those that eat like there is no tomorrow.
The only problem I see with Jimmy Spices is that if you visit it over time the food gets repetitive and you know what to expect. The chance to be surprised by new concoctions or flavours is slim once you've been here 3-4 times and tried everything they have on offer.
Nevertheless, Jimmy Spices is value for money provided you make the most of it by eating a lot and taking your time with it. It's always a good idea to skip a meal or two before you make it to the restaurant to enjoy what's on offer to the max.

Great value for money . ( £14.99) adult buffet to eat as much as you like . Plenty of food choice ,vegetarian and Halal Options available ! Something for everyone including pizza and chips for the kids.
The Buffet has a hot plate system to keep the food warm and fresh. Also you can ask the chefs to cook your meal for you, using a range of ingredients to choose from on display.
The staff are friendly and polite . Despite the restaurant being busy the drinks we ordered arrived fast . overall a great night out with mouth watering food. You will not be disappointed .
It is for the Solihul City Centre Outlet. The food was fantastic. Felt at home. It was a weekday lunch that me and my teammates went. Though it was a bit late and people were about to close they gave us enough time to finish our food. The ambiance is nice. Its a not too loud. The servers were helpful. The crowd was mostly Asians though it a mix of crowd which enjoyed the food. It was a buffet spread and for weekend it was approx 7 pound. From pasta to pizza. Naan to plain rice. everything was there. The mutton rogan josh was really good. I never had such rogan josh in many places in India itself. Kudos to the place and surely will visit again.

If you're in Birmingham and you're missing Indian food, this is the place to be. I still recollect my college days at Birmingham and enjoying the jimmy spices food at least once a month, nice service and ambience.. Worth a visit
A great concept, Jimmy Spices really does have something for everyone.
The cuisines are separated by continent and it's easy to navigate as well as build your own noodle dishes.
The sections are frequently refilled and the bar area is well staffed, at least it was when I went in a large group of people and the entire restaurant was full.
The atmosphere is busy, but it's great for a large group outing or if you're really hungry for everything.
In simple words, this place is a "Foodies Paradise". Nice location, Ample space and Vast variety of cuisines to choose from ! Loads of different dishes and desserts to try until your stomach literally can't take any more. Nice Bar section with plenty of drinks to soothe your mind. I really had amazing time at this place with my best friend and moments we spent there are really memorable. Ambience is nice and Staff is courteous and Price is really affordable for a buffet.
If you are really hungry and want to eat away to your heart's content I would definitely recommend this place.The place i really huge and despite that it remains jam packed at lunch and dinner times specially on weekends. The reason is simple affordable and amazing food. The food is buffet with selections available from a number of cuisines from across the world :- Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Continental and so on. The desert is to drool over and consists of innumerable sweet dishes. It really is heaven for someone with a sweet tooth like me. The place being buffet is self service other than the drinks and cutlery being served. The ambiance is all right and frankly you really would not care about it as your full attention would be on your plate from the time you enter to the time you decide that your stomach cant take in anymore food. A true delight for any foodie ...:)
One of my favourite all-you-can-eat restaurants in the UK. I really loved the ambience, service was top-notch and I explored many meals. It's better to book ahead so you can easily get a seat. The drinks are not included in the buffet price but they are quite affordable.
I love that they included allergen and dietary information for each food asides from the ice cream flavours. Also very family friendly.
I'll definitely visit again if I'm in Birmingham!
The service here was great, with Rajesh being a star and greeting us at the door. The way you come into the restaurant through a cafe and an elevator is a little awkward but totally fine to reach a big hall full of food. The food itself was okay and edible, i would say it’s more catered to a child’s palate but the drinks and cocktails were amazing (with one even being served on fire!!) and a great selection of good tasting desserts. Service was good with empty plates being taken away regularly and cutlery being provided. Overall, worth the price if you’re in it for the buffet experience !
We had an amazing family lunch! There’s variety of different types of food and services was good,the food was delicious too.

Had a dinner with family and friends for my birthday. It was an awesome experience. Best Buffet restaurant i have been too and every meal i had tasted delicious. Staff were nice and environment clean. They clear off the table as soon as you are done with a meal and don't let the table stack up with used plaits. I also enjoyed the watermelon and sugar cocktail. Had the first glass for free as it was my birthday and also you get one glass for free wheb you order a glass of cocktail. Overall, it was an awesome experience

I was very confused while choosing restaurant. Even at last minute I had second thought but I have no regrets dining in jimmy. Food, staff, atmosphere everything was perfect. It's great place for people who likes Indian food. I was very happy as it was my first dining in UK. It's 25£ per person on Sunday. So if you want to save some money go on Monday and Tuesday as the price is £14.
Amazing amazing amazing.. I hv to say only these three words. Worlds cuisine served in one restaurant can’t you believe??? Yes you hv to believe as you will get served with more than 100+ food options at a one place, just you need to hv space in your tummy. It mainly specialises for Indian core food like mutton curry chicken curry paneer curry and different forms of rice with side dishes like starters deserts and Indian street food. Can suggest to try Chinese as they are making customise Chinese food over the selected ingredients and choice is yours. Continental options are there too. So why are you holding back just book an table and make sure you are hungry enough before to head to restaurant.

Love coming to Jimmy spice and in this occasion we went there for my daughter’s birthday. We were greeted when seated and asked for any allergies, my daughter is allergic to pineapple so we have to sign a consent and was shown by the head chef what food she can have and what foods to avoid which was nice.
Drinks were 2 for 1 which was a plus. We love going there for their fresh noodles. You get to choose the protein and vegs, hand it to the chef requesting your spice and see the noodles in action. The fresh nan and dosa were delicious. Dosa comes with various choices like masala , potatoes or plain. I got the plain one and dipped in in their delicious dal dip.
They have a large selection of curries and rices but I didn’t try any as was full with 2 meals lol.
Deserts are not to my liking. They used to have a fresh ice cream machine but removed it which is sad as that’s what I used to get.
Only down point is that, the staff keep watching you and I don’t feel comfortable, I don’t think they mind if how many times you go back and fourth but the fact of someone hovering around watching is not the best. The dishes don’t get taken off the table where they would pile up and then they would ask for a service charge which I dont understand. If im paying for service they it should be top notch.
Other than that I would definitely go back of course and enjoy Jimmy Spice as always.
Very lot of choice self service, deserts are delicious, you feel very comfortable especially with family, accompanied, or for a groupe, the food is good not perfect but there is a lot of choice everything lol
