We went for Lunch and ordered Veg Thali , Aloo Chaat , Chilly Chicken and Golgappa.
Service was courteous and efficient , the owners are very welcoming and have service instilled hospitality .
Ambience was splendid and spacious with good decor and quite a fine dining experience.
The menu is exquisite and didn't fail to disappoint with the taste and quantity . All the dishes had authenticity with the right taste.
Definitely coming again with more set of friends 🙂
Found this place online while visiting Birmingham, the dishes were very tasty and authentic, especially the Lamb Biryani! Price was reasonable! Worth to try!
What a wonderful host. Fantastic food. Perfect prices.
Welcome to Lime n Chilli. A pub, turned Indian Restaurant that is becoming a Birmingham legend. This city centre Indian restaurant, alongside amazing restaurants Asha's, Varanasi and Pushkar, has been shortlisted in the British Curry Awards 2021!
It's a huge venue. It has that traditional brummie restaurant feel to it. It also still feels like a pub. The toilets are still in the old pub style. The owner intends to spruce up the interior. I suggested go over the top with traditional Indian decorations. Take a leaf out of Rajdoot's bag.
Lime n Chilli is advertised first and foremost as a place for families. The owner informed me that they have karaoke nights and bands performing on stage. They also have mass gatherings for special occasions. There is a licenced bar serving popular beers on tap.
As mentioned, the service was sensational. The owner was happy to chat about his background in Mumbai, on cruise ships, London and recently Birmingham. I'm happy he chose our beautiful industrial city.
The menu is more exciting than the average British Indian restaurant. There is excellent selection of Indian street food dishes available that you have to try. Food is cooked to perfection.
I paid less than £20 for food that would set you back £10 more if you ate in the city. Given it's 2 miles from the centre, it's convenient to get to. You could even consider walking there.
It's great we have such fine institutions like Lime n Chilli in our city.
Lime and Chilly' s good family restaurants and their food is tasty, the customer service is also good!
The atmosphere is good, live music, beautiful old hindi songs the entertainer today was amazing. They also have car park and plenty parking on the side road.Live music is on from Wed to Sun
Been here before a few years back and it was ok nothing to rave about. This time the food was good much better, we ordered 5 dishes and bar the keema Punjab which was clearly rushed cos the species were not there, the others were perfect. The roti unfortunately was hard and thick though the naan was spot on. Live music was great and made the evening a positive. The food thing is they have security at the door which is a big plus. Will be back again.
We visited Lime and Chilli Restaurant on Soho Road, Birmingham, last weekend. The location is perfect on the main road, easy to find and park your car. The decoration in the premises is very nice, modern, and very welcoming. The staff are of exemplary, highly customer service focused, including Mr Kuldeepbhai and Deepakbhai and the whole team.
There is a very wide range of vegetarian and non-vegeterian dishes, other indo Chinese/ foreign dishes. There is a very wide range of beers and spirits all at a very reasonable price.
The food is very delicious and has great quality of deserts too.
There is Bolllywood music most nights and no entrance fees. We are not rushed to vacate the table as they are not money oriented kind of people. They are very supportive to all multi cultural clientele groups, and its the repeat custom , without any publicity stunt, which speaks volumes if their standards of service and customer care are. They have been awarded 5 star food award on their own merit.
Best wishes, and we will definitely return for a few more regular entertaining evenings as people travel quite a distance to visit them.
Thanks for looking after us.
Bharat chandarana and friends
Nice Staff,food was awesome
butter chicken and punjabi chicken curry soo scrumptious❤️chily chips very nice (best dining ,10 on 10 service all over in birmingham)🎉👌🏻😋
Fantastic family restaurant. The food is best and the entertainment is beyond expectation.
Visited Friday evening and the singer Bobby was superb. loved his selections of songs.
I also enjoyed the Sizzlers ,got a right kick of spices. Well done to the team and it's highly recommend.
Fantastic orthentic Indian food. Loves surrounding. Food is excellent and well worth a visit.
When I was there was a singer who was brilliant.
The first thing you realise as you enter this place is: it's full! Then, sequentially, the following truths dawn upon you:
a) all the guests are Indian
b) there are singers and there is live singing
c) all the staff is Asian
After this, nothing else matters much. I ordered a tandoori pomfret (noice) followed by mutton kadai with lachcha paratha. Also, a fruit mocktail. The waiters were clearly overworked. My server was Amit, but others helped too, such as Heena and Saurav. The crowds were singing along with the lead singer... Both male, and female.
Nice food. Great ambience.
Been for lunch time and lovely food and serving is good and friendly staff.
Father's day we came to celebrate at lime n chilli. They had live Bollywood songs and the food was too good will recommend and you should try fish Amritsari , chilli chicken, veg Manchurian soya methi , chicken Tikka masala , butter chicken and lamb Rogan Josh. We were six of them and every one enjoyed .
Great lively place with free entertainment. Thrilling atmosphere. Great vegetarian options and decent prices.
