Go here every couple of months for a few years now. We have always found it clean and good variety of food wether pre or post 5pm.

Good selection of food, quick to be seated and served drinks. Our favourite Chinese buffet, always eat here when visiting Birmingham really handy for both Theatres.
Me and my partner came here for dinner before a busy new years eve shift at work. Never been before. We were seated straight away. Food was lovely!! Also had a live singer on which was a nice change.. would definitely recommend. Not bad price too.
Food is awesome and mouth watering but too bad I can’t have them all because I’m already full! definitely will come back. Nice ambience with lots of spaces, buffet food gots lot of choices, they have karaoke themed rooms and function rooms for party and special events. Staff are friendly and the service is good.
Nice restaurant. It is quit big and spacious, I love the room and the music. Toilets are nice and clean (9 out of 10) for the toilets
They should have at least one prawns plate during daylight but it is cool (like we say in London)
I def recomend the Spanish Rosé wine for the wine lovers.!

I literally come here for the lemon chicken and desserts. It's by far one of my favourite buffets in Birmingham. It's spacious and allows for big groups.
Everyone knows that if you're in Birmingham and you're looking for an All You Can Eat Buffet then Ming Moon is the place to be. BUT did you know they have Dim Sum and a la carte as well? And its delish. I'm always up for trying new Dim Sum restaurants and yYou may already have your favourite Dim Sum place to go in China Town (there are a few) but give Ming Moon a try, it will not disappoint! Just got back to Birmingham and I've already been to Wing Wah and Ming Moon :) Love the abalone Siu Mai :).
Best Chinese Buffet in Birmingham!!.. Karaoke .. Colourful lights..n unlimited Chinese food ... am not surprised it's always full!!! Love this place !!!
Really great food. Loads of choice. Vibrant environment. Staff could be a lil more attentive. Had to ask for drinks order to be taken and ask for the bill. Although the food is definitely worth overlooking that small negative. Will be going again soon for sure!
Good value and selection. Good selection of food all around.. the sushi was kind of meh.. but i liked the stirfry section. The only thing that upset me was the duck pancakes and its clearly not duck meat. the texture tasted like shredded pork. it's also chopped up into very fine bits so it would fool most people... but othewise pretty decent buffet. would consider going again when i'm feeling gluttonous.
Very good buffet, impressive selection & very attentive staff. Amazing value & good sweet selection. £12.99 on a sat night central Birmingham can't beat it !
Great Chinese restaurant in the hear of Birmingham. Great food and choice for families. We love Ming Moon, this is our 3rd visit in 3 days!
Absolutely delicious.
I'm used to buffets being quantity over quality but Ming Moon totally changed my mind on that.
The food is delicious, I'm usually full of oily, tepid food at most buffets by the second plate but I had 3 helpings and even squeezed in some dessert.
It helps that the seating area doesn't look like a buffet, instead pushing the atmosphere of an upscale restaurant.
I highly recommend the BBQ ribs, you'll end up with sauce all over your face but you just won't care.
Ming Moon - Well glad to be the first person to write a review for this place. It was my last day in Birmingham, my last lunch with all my friends hailing from different states of India. This was in year 2011 and I would like to share my experience here. We decided to opt for the Buffet, glad we made that choice. It had a good spread. The food was delicious too. They had a different policy, soups and starters were not served on table. We had to take by ourselves unlike other restaurants. I still remember, at that time the buffet at this place had cost us 6 pounds. Not very sure, if it was inclusive of taxes and other charges. Overall, we had a great time there.
Food was amazing, and was regularly being replenished. The staff were all so helpful and funny....they really want people to have a great time! We certainly did!

We came in today to celebrate a Birthday. There were 10 people in our party. Everyone was very happy with the food and a service provided. Wine was quite expensive but very nice. The birthday celebration was a surprise when they brought the cake with a sparkler. We could fully recommend the Ming Moon to anyone. Many thanks

Order the ying and Yang cocktail.. I couldn't get enough of them
Visited a few times now and have always enjoyed it, food is nice and hot with plenty to choose from.
It's also a good way to try new Chinese curries that I've wanted to try but never have as I'm not sure if I'd like it or not.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming and this restaurant is clean and tidy.
They also do Too good to go bags which I've had once and got plenty of food.

Was slightly annoyed as booking gives you no advantage, walk ins were sat before us
I understand early doors means plenty of tables but at least reinforce and prioritise the importance of using a service you recommended if you want it to be used.
Other than that food and staff were brilliant and i would recommend the food to anyone visiting the town
This place is in my top 5 of favourite places to eat. The food was out of this world. The prices are fair too. It’s also a beautiful place to take pictures. I am still dreaming of the food i had there 😝. Will definitely be going back.

Had a karaoke night with my colleagues in December and hands down to that amazing experience. They have got different rooms which need to be pre-booked for karaoke and the experience will be fabulous. We had unlimited access to the buffet dinner which had large variety of Chinese cuisine. Actually we went there last year as well and everything was exactly the same this year too. I was with my colleagues so still was a great experience but if you are visiting time and again, you might get bored with the food as they have pretty much same menu. Their desert options were pretty good though. They also had dumplings which were great. The staffs were welcoming and co-operative. When you have your own space with your own group of friends it is usually good. The only downside is the karaoke rooms are on the floor -2 whereas the buffet are on the ground floor so you need to do up and down quite a lot. The bar is also at -2 so you won’t be walking that much for drinks. Anyways if you’re looking for a place to go with your friends and family and want to enjoy the karaoke bar as well, ming moon might be the good place. Make sure to do the pre-booking though. I’ve been there twice so 2 different dresses😂😂

First time here and we’ll definitely be back. Busy Saturday lunchtime in Birmingham but we got seated pretty much straight away. Good selection of dishes available and the food was really tasty. We were looked after by Fung who was fantastic and kept our table lovely and tidy with a lovely smile on his face ☺️. Thank you!
