Celebrated mother in laws Birthday so 19 of us in the party. The staff were very attentive and the waitress remembered who had ordered what food. The food was excellent standard and the wine was very scrummy. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Great Food, Great Service, Very Under-rated!!. I have been to Zizzi's on many occasions, from busy Saturday nights with big groups of friends to quiet Monday nights with just the 2 of us and every time has been fantastic!
The building itself is quite spectacular: high ceilings, nice furniture and art, all topped off with good music and a humble atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses all seem to enjoy their job and it comes over when they speak to you, always happy to help and pleasant to chat to.
But saying all that, the food is what takes me back again and again. The huge wood-burning oven that is visible the moment you walk through the door cooks the BEST pizzas I have ever tasted (I don't see why anyone visits Pizza Express). The calzones are also very special, especially the spicy meat one with bolognaise inside it!
According to my chef friend, the pastas are also very very tasty indeed, and risotto that he couldn't possibly make as good at home.
When Zizzi's first opened in Harborne i heard a lot of bad press and it put me off for a while but now with new management and new chefs (according to my last waitress) the place has gone from strength-to-strength and so has the food.
I reccomend this restaurant for all occasions, I for one could eat there at least once every week!

Really nice restaurant. They have their own vegan menu which is full of options. The vegan cheese pizza is absolutely delicious! The food always arrived promptly and nice and hot, however the staff were quite slow in taking orders. That aside, we would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We had a set menu through buy a gift. One of the pasta dishes was bland and watery. We spoke to the waitress who changed the meal and gave us a free glass of prosecco.
I've always had good experiences here & the food has always been great too. Very friendly staff & the new lemon curd cheesecake is devine!

Have been here many times with my young sister as we find the service to be good and the staff very friendly. Never too much trouble to help or suggest amendments to dishes for dietary requirements. Only one downside is that as it is in a historic building it is usually a little chilly and the toilets are up a spiral staircase. Neither of these should put you off though; will be back.
Really nice food and staff. We went as a booking of 6 and were served well with perfect timings. Nice to be able to see the food being prepped but without it being intrusive. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian choice which is a bonus. Also--unidays discount!
The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and decor, extremely inviting. Our server James definitely made the visits even better, he was extremely attentive, funny and helpful.
We have been to zizzi's in the city centre before but it was definitely not a good as here.
The food was also great. I'd say the only downfall is the toilets are 3 floors up however well worth the walk as they where juat as inviting as the rest of the building and staff.
I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back.
Met as a small group here including a 3 year old. Booked online in the morning and all requests fulfilled (ie where we wanted to be seated)
We had the nicest waitress ever who was very accommodating; and who put the children's order through first. She remembered my son wanted some milk, even when I forgot! Between her and another member of staff they gave him a chefs hat to decorate and some colouring in bits and pieces. They made room for my husband when he unexpectedly arrived and rushed his order through in 5 mins, so he wasn't left eating whilst the rest of us finished.
The food was delicious. Fresh and cooked to perfection. It was a lovely venue for a catch up in the evening; and the attentive staff were brilliant. Would definitely return.

Nice clean environment, nice cosy atmosphere and decor, extensive menu with reliable strong quality of food and excellent desserts. Drinks pricy. Overall good value if you have voucher for money off food. Foreign waiting staff can be a bit cold sometimes.
Picture this: Monday evening- not busy. Big pizza oven fired up, good range and options. Pleasant staff, not very well organised or efficient: food arrived without too much delay - fish skewers with potato and hollandaise sauce. Not great, but adequate. I bet everyone gets an online voucher - why wouldn't we??
Had a wonderful Sunday brunch there. The food is amazing, the service was good.
The place has a nice atmosphere to it, and even if it's crowded, it still feels intimate and nice.
Would probably go back sometimes in the future!
Really appreciated the warm welcome, staff were attentive ... Food was delish, enjoyed the fish goujons and potatoes and pasta. The fruit tea and cocktails were yum. The popping candy on the ice cream was a delightful surprise which was enjoyed by all... 😊
First class service from the moment we walked in! We did book as we were double dating on a Sat night so knew it would be busy, but front of house gent was funny and made you feel very welcome, showed us to our seats where we were given the extensive menu and drinks list, we were well acommodadated for as one of our party is expecting a baby so mocktails at the ready! They also swapped the cheese in the dish that she couldn't eat (as it was raw goats milk) for mozzarella. Service was very fast and all staff were extremely friendly. The PULLED PORK ROMA RUSTICA PIZZA is honestly the best pizza I have ever tasted in my 24 years of life! Can 100% recommend. The staff are very friendly. Will definitely go back.
