We are from Australia. We have been going to bull & spice for 7 years. We tried this new restaurant of yours before we left and wow!!! Amazing service and phenominal food. I can not express how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thankyou for a great night and for taking lewis for a walk so I could eat my dinner.

Great for large groups. There were four Birthday parties going at the same time. The food was very nice the staff were helpful. They only sell soft drinks so bring your own or buy it from a local shop 2 minutes walk away. Ps 2 bottles 330ml coke cost nearly £6 this was the only downside

My wife and I had Christmas Day lunch at The New Masala Merchant. Wow. Absolutely brilliant. It was a bit busy on the sitting times changeover, but people who were waiting were well looked after with free Proseco/beer and nibbles. Once seated, all went superbly well. The staff were brilliant and well up for looking after everyone. They couldn't do enough for you, and all with smiles on their faces. The food was excellent. All served up at a time to suit us. Crackers, small present for everyone and still free Proseco/beer if you wanted. A wonderful experience, and by the looks of the other diners, they were having the same experience as us.

This place is amazing! Best curry I have had in a long time. We went with 2 young children. Staff were fantastic with them gave them free sweets and ice cream. Staff really friendly, food lovely and prices extremely reasonable.

Staff are wonderful and caring, beautiful atmosphere in Restaurant and the food is the best we've had so far in Birmingham, delicious and tasty, full of flavoursome ingredients. Honestly amazing, unparalleled service and great quality food, if you’re debating it just do it.
Booked a table for 13 for my mum’s birthday. Easy booking process on the website and the table was confirmed within a couple of hours by text and even had a courtesy call to say that it was all booked in.
When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helpful when we needed to add an extra person to the party. They had put balloons and a birthday banner up by our table which I thought was a lovely touch.
Very attentive and allowed us to order separately as four groups which made it easier at the end when paying. The staff were helpful making suggestions when ordering as an allergy sufferer.
Food came really quickly and was delicious. Good portion sizes including the children’s meals.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning in future 🙂
