Bedders - Birmingham - Photo album

I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s very unique and tasty, I’ve never seen a chippy like it. Chippy served on a plate with onions and fish bits on top is great! Reasonably priced too and comes with a drink. Although I am told by several people that it used to be better a few years ago.
Absolutely fantastic. Went around 5pm on a Friday and for £12 you get fish & chips, mushy peas, a slice of bread and hot cuppa. Everything on that plate was A1 and although the place was really crowded we managed to find a nice table. Everything very clean, tables cleared promptly and a good atmosph
Best in Birmingham , heritage at its finest a true icon of the area if not the city.
The food was nice fish slightly small. Chips were very nice and chunky 😋 parking is a big issue and opening time are limited which cam be extended. Small fish and chips with curry sauce and a can of drink came to £10.50p they have indoor seating area.
Environment: Clean and tidy. Staff: Well spoken, attentive to order. Food presentation: Very good. Quantity: Value for money Ordered the Fish and Chips with mushy peas, sliced bread with margarine spread, pickled onions and  cuppa!! Verdict: Not at all disappointed with the food and very well wort
Birminghams top chippy and the only one myself and work colleagues use, food is always good making it very popular as both a sit down and eat venue or an order and take out choice. The prices are in keeping with current price rises so very competitive for the area. Can get busy at lunch times howeve
Eat In Order: Two Battered Cod and Chips, 2 Battered Sausages, with sides of Peas, Gravy, Onions, 2 slices of Bread, a cup of Tea, a Pepsi can and chilli sauce. I had been wanting to try here ever since heard of it! As it's close and nicely priced. Must I say this beat my expectations, we both said
I come to bedders with my brother today, and I have to say this was one of the best fish & chips I've had in years, the fish batter was crispy and light and the chips were light and fluffy, gravy or mushy peas come with the meal along side with slices of bread & butter with a drink or your choice, w
Such a lovely place to eat your food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. And the fish and chips are second to none.
One of the best chippies in the country. Make sure you have onions (thank me later) Fantastic haddock and tasty curry sauce
Mike’s Fish & Chips shop is so far The Best in Birmingham! Delicious fish and hand cut chips, friendly and extremely quick stuff all accomplished with cozy traditional atmosphere. Highly recommend l, so don’t hesitate to pay a visit and enjoy proper fish & chips. Thanks
I'm not a local to the area, but the staff are friendly, the service is prompt and the fish and chips are up there with the very best I've had. The curry sauce is excellent also.
Wonderful fish and chips..but was cold in there the day we went,so the only hot thing was fish..chips and peas plus tea.went cold quick..so left most of them. It was just one of those days..but will still go !!
Lovely, no nonsense, traditional fish and chips. Great price for a fish supper: the batter is by far the best I have tried in Birmingham. Shame it isn't open more often.
