Attended a special kids event with my 3yo today and was able to give him a wonderful first visit to a cinema. The staff were friendly with all the kids and they had given me excellent customer service when I needed help with my ticket. This cinema is a lovely independent cinema with a range of drinks and snacks available and we had a lovely visit. Would recommend over larger cinemas as the Mockingbird has a lovely intimate feel.

Second time visiting this cinema and this time for the live screening of The Traitors final. UNBELIEVABLE NIGHT! The staff nailed it and truly did everything they could to make this a fun, super chilled night for all. We had a pre-show game, exclusive video from cast members and the most enthusiastic crowd of folk ever. A night club has less energy than that screen tonight. It may be a small venue but it packs a punch... highly highly recommend it. I'll be waiting impatiently till season 3 finale but in the mean time we'll be back. Endgame.

I brought my kids to see Peppa Pig. The staff treat the kids as if they were they were their own. Honestly, they were so friendly and they really made us feel taken care of. The interaction and personable experience made us feel like we were valued customers, not just numbers, like you have when you go to the Odeon and they just scan you in and charge extortionate rates for the films and food etc. Thank you for taking care of us, and looking forward to coming back.

I'm not going to downgrade the establishment but the the latte and hot chocolate were terrible. Well worth a visit great experience. Parking is an issue, quite expensive but round the corner you can get 12 hours for £3.50.

We enjoyed going to the Mockingbird Cinema for the first time. Screen 2 was small with comfortable seats. There was a good selection of snacks and drinks at the bar.

Excellent independant cinema in the heart of Digbeth. Lee and the team did a great job helping to sort a private screening for us with a group of 20 friends and everyone loved the setup, such a cool venue too :)

Absolutley fantastic cinema. We attended the big buffy meet-up - the attention to detail was insane from high school maps, band posters and special messages from the cast. Quiz was fab and the magician really entertaining tarot card reading was a nice touch and loved the themed cocktails. really friendly atmosphere and will be attending future themed events!

Cool little independent cinema/cafe in the heart of Birmingham. Clean and pleasant atmosphere inside. I had a screening of my film here and it was great to have the support of the owners who were willing to take a chance on an unknown film as part of their horror season (which also showed will known horror films). I'd happily recommend The Mockingbird Cinema to folks who want to see a film in a more intimate, independent setting.

The Mockingbird has become THE film hub for Birmingham. It's small and scrappy but there's always great events going on, the prices are reasonable and they program films other cinemas don't have the balls to screen.

Honestly a great place. Went for the first time last week. Watched Past Lives. They have main stream blockbusters and independent movies. Comfortable seats. Decent size screen. You avoid those people who otherwise sit in showings at big cinema chains, who look and scroll through their phones as opposed to watching the movie, and distract others. A place for movie lovers who appreciate the cinematic experience. Will be sure to go to the Mockingbird from now on.👍🏽

I love this Cinema and will always be there to support what they do. We went on Saturday to see Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 We bought a Cider to take in, which was quiet nice, refreshing and decently priced. The Inside is always warm and welcoming. It was a hot, beautiful day, which got me a little worried it might be too hot, but I was pleasantly surprised by how cool the inside was due to the awesome Air con. The seating were comfortable and we had a great experience. I might have been too comfortable as I teared up towards the end, but then again I cried in the last 2 Volumes too towards the end. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who loves Cinema and good relax night out and can't wait to go again very very soon .

We always look forward to our visits to the Mockingbird, and yesterday we visited again to see 'Have you got it yet? - The story of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd' - we loved every minute of it - well worth seeing ⚘ and the great vibe that is always present at the Mockingbird Cinema, Bar & Café really added to the enjoyment of our visit, just as it always does! 💖
