I cannot rate this restaurant enough! The welcoming service, food quality and vegan options here are simply sublime. The price is extremely reasonable given the location and quality of the food on offer. I had the aubergine and peanut bao bun, the chickpea ramen with homemade noodles and the vegan meringue for dessert. Each course was distinct, wholesome and well executed. I am so pleased to have finally found a place that serves vegan bao buns and would return in a heartbeat!

I had the pork bun, cod bun & the duck ramen which were all so tasty. Pork and duck were both tender and the cod had a thin crispy batter. So good

Great new noodle bar in the Jewellery Quarter! Yummy dishes with subtle fragrant flavours. I had the Coconut Broth Veggie Noodle option and it was delicious. Gluten free noodles also available! Highly recommend :)

Great place and lovely food! Duck Raman and Pork Bao we're great, both the noodles and broth were the best i've had since visiting Japan. Great addition to the JQ!

A little gem. I had the veggie option: coconut broth with enoki mushrooms. Fresh delicate and well-balanced flavours. The peach sorbet and coconut rice pudding is sensational.

Really great steamed buns, simple homemade noodles with well made broth. BYOB so you can drink what you like. An incredibly exciting addition to the Jewellery Quarter

Another restaurant I’ll add to my Birmingham favourites. This cosy Asian food inspired experience offers a sense of eating at home. The hostess was chatty, professional and attentive. Food was prepared with care, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. You get a lot of bao for your buck. A great venue couples and small groups.

Went to Lucky Duck for lunch and ordered the chicken bao bun, pork belly ramen, ox cheeks ramen(both small) and the chilli and garlic noodles. Every course was well presented, great taste and very friendly service. The interior is chic and simple, minimalistic style. I will definitely be back and I recommend you to give it a try if you like ramen.

This is a great wee place with an intimate feel and relaxed atmosphere. The decor is very simple and tasteful and the choice of music was suited to a dark winter's evening. Service was great, the lady who served us was friendly and efficient. She made us feel welcome and was on the ball. We had the Pork Cheek Katsu and Korean Fried Chicken buns to start and the Ox Cheek Pho, Rare Beef, Beansprouts bowl. The buns were great, full of flavour and tender meat. The pork cheek was particularly good. The Pinot Noir wine was delicious. A good quality wine and good value at £4 per glass. My only negative would be the flavour of the broth in the bowl. It had a real distinct five spice flavour to it and lacked chilli heat/flavour. Almost too over powering. The addition of the accompanying chilli spice allows you to heat to your taste. It would have been nice if there were perhaps some more vegetables in the bowl. Overall we really liked it. The concept is great. We paid £40 for two buns, two bowls, two beers and two wines. Great value for an evening meal in a nice restaurant.

It was a very pleasant experience. Very small menu but good choices. We've been looking for a good ramen place in birmingham for years now and this probably the best one so far. The place itself was small but comfortable and had relaxing music on. They said they change their menu from time to time so I will definitely go again to try their new ones.

The staff are really friendly, I had the rare beef pho and it was super tasty. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is: I ordered the large bowl for £10, my friend ordered the same dish, but the small bowl for £5. They came in the same bowl (not literally), except mine had about an inch and half more liquid, not really anymore noodles or beef. I’d have been happy with the meal at £5 - £6 but £10 was too much and I got nothing more for the money.

We tried all the veggie options and were really tasty. Don't miss out the buns and home-made deserts. Pleasant environment, excellent service and decent prices.

Amazing food, nice tidy place. Great find. Noodles are perfect. Brisket is melt in the mouth and the broth was a good flavour (additionally spiced to taste). The duck buns were a treat (a few spring onions wouldn't go a miss) and the pineapple, pecan and coconut yoghurt dessert is an absolute dream. Service was exceptionally too. Get here before this place takes off!

Popped in for a takeaway at the end of lunch today - well rewarded with a beautiful bowl of duck ramen with a soft boiled egg. Balanced flavours and healthy ingredients = tasty guilt free ramen! We’ll be back for the buns soon...

We got here just after opening for the dinner menu. So glad they had room for us! The buns are amazing and the noodles are extremely tasty. Service is speedy and smiley and great value for money too. The buns are huge so don't over order and it's a cosy little place so booking ahead is probably a good idea if you are planning to come at a busy time (towards 7pm on Friday was getting a few more walk ins that had to be turned away). Extremely glad we came here

This place has huge potential. The bao buns are sublime and a must try. The only criticism I have is the mains are almost too subtle in flavour. The stock used for the soups needs to be stewed longer for deeper flavour and inspect more flavour from the pork. As I say though there's huge potential

Probably the best noodles I've had in Birmingham. Sitting in between St Paul's Square and the Jewellery Quarter, the Lucky Duck has a simple menu centred on noodles and bao buns. The restaurant is really nicely done out and wonderfully relaxed with attentive and accommodating staff who looked after our (demanding) kids and adapted the dishes to suit them. The noodles were fresh, moorish and flavoursome. Will definitely go back.

Outstanding meal. Between my fellow diner and I, we've accumulated our experiences of East Asian cuisine through Chinese family and travels. It's fair to say, flavours were on point. The ingredients were remarkably fresh, putting this establishment in a totally different category to any "East Asian" restaurant in the area. Kudos to the chef.
