Really need a holiday! Instead I treated myself to a taste of France at Maison Mayci. Delicious Croque monsieur, coffee & raspberry frangipani. So lucky to have this cafe on my doorstep. Life is good again! Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended. 😋😍👏

I recently ordered a millefoglie for a birthday celebration with 15 people. I can happily say that it was not only ready on time and it was highly appreciated by the birthday girl and the rest of my mates. Highly recommend.

Maison Mayci house the best bakers in Brum, the loaves of bread are all wonderful and delicious toasted. I recommend you and go once a week and pick up a special variety bread and a pastry and support these amazing, hardworking small business owners / chefs.

A lovely French café, simplicity in its selection but rich in character with art work decorating the walls and a lovely back garden area. To the food, I had avocado and scrambled egg as my breakfast and a heavy chocolate tart for brunch. Presentation is everything here from the plate to the servers. Love everything about it including the local pale ale I finished off with. When in the South of Brum I will definitely visit.

How did I not know this place existed?. A great little place my friend took me too. If you want perfect french pastries this is the place. Own and run by French chefs you won't be disappointed.

From our Instagram - 🥖 Maison Mayci, Moseley - We were invited to @maisonmayci in Moseley to try their evening menu; yes that’s right they don’t just do amazing lunches and pastries. They now do gorgeous three course meals in the evening too but only Fridays and Saturdays till 10pm. Serving up some of the best French cuisine right here in Moseley. - @maisonmayci was opened by two brothers (Rami and David) 16 years ago. They have a place in Mosleley and one in Kings Heath too. In the summer the Moseley branch has a great garden which is a real sun trap. Rami and David are the ones in the kitchen too preparing these great dishes. - These photos are of our two starters, we had the Trio de Houmous and the Assiette de Charcuterie (cold meats, bread and olives) The starters were spectacular. Tasty houmous, juice meats and in particular, the olives 😍 - The restaurant is lovely and open, fresh and warm and relaxed. Everyone should give @maisonmayci a go, maybe be braver then I and try the frogs legs 🐸 - More photos to follow of the mains and desserts . . . . #maisonmayci #frenchcuisine #french #houmous #meat #frenchfood #starters #Birmingham #lovebirmingham #lovebrum #solihull #moseley #lovefood #foodporn #drinks #drinkporn #foodies #foodiesofbrum #whattoeat #eatout #foodlover #vegan #vegetarian #glutanfree #foodstagram #goodfood #instagood #instafood #foodblogger

This place is beautiful, the atmosphere is gorgeous, they have very nice music playing and the cakes are not only aesthetically pleasing but delicious, the staff are lovely and the selection of food is marvellous. I would recommend this place for a date night or just to celebrate or even just for a quick coffee and a cake. Will definitely come again!!

I just recently started going here very nice place with very friendly staff very popular And I like that they take your order at the table service is very fast no waiting more the just a couple of minutes I do find it strange you pay after you have drunk or eaten and I couldn’t get my head around it at first I thought the girl who served me the first time had forgotten to take my payment I look forward to visiting again in the near future .

This bakery has delicious sourdough bread! Food is nice but the croque-monsieur was a bit too heavy because of the crème. Coffee is also very good. Few seatings inside but also outside behind the shop.

The best café in Moseley for strong coffee and authentic French croissant etc. It has a certain stripped down provincial French feel helped by the art work and music. Decent selection of freshly cooked breakfast items available until 11am and then a lunch menu supplemented by specials of the day (always a soup, a pasta and or quiche dish plus usually something like a fish or meat dish. This is a local institution. As is the smaller sister cafe in Kings Heath. Many come to meet here for relaxed business, most come to socialise. Just as many come just to buy the French bread or the genuinely eye-catching patisserie. The Moseley café has a garden to the rear and is being expanded to bring the bakery in house.
