Amazing food, amazing service, amazing price and a very large and diverse range of dishes to choose from as well as refill your choice of drinks as many times as you want included in the price you have paid for the buffet. Loved the place. Enjoyed such great restaurant food after a long time. Definitely recommend it. Can't wait for my next trip to Birmingham. Great if you opened a branch in London, Insha Allah will do great here, people here are missing out on the great experience this place provides. Well done keep up the good work
Great food and great service ..no complaints from me whats so ever ..soo much variety that its impossible to eat everything in one sitting , but unlike some other buffet the food is actually nice .
What can I say wish I could give 10 stars delicious food variety is mind blowing staff really friendly and helpful fresh food good service what more can you ask for
Great food with loads of dishes and options and service is great.could no fault the place
Best place to go for dinner cheap and food 5star
Met with family from all over uk, looked after very well bu all the staff. Food and ambiance was amazing! Will definitely be visiting again very soon!
We went to Ziryab Buffet on a Sunday evening at around 6pm. It wasn’t that busy. We had to wait for 5 mins but got shown to a table. There was a quite variety of cuisines from Italian, to Chinese and Indian.
There was different varieties of food. The Peri peri chicken, masala fish was quite dry but most of the curries tasted nice. Everything felt fresh. The stir fry was really nice. There wasn’t much service, as it’s mainly choose your own food. The tables were cleared fairly soon. Can’t comment on staff friendliness. The price was sort of expected for a buffet. Good variety of food and good taste to food.
It’s a good place to try, if you never had a buffet. Just note on a busy period, parking can be a pain. I went at a fairly quiet period and struggled to find parking.
Get down to Ziryab whenever you can. There's a car park guy to keep things in check - but if you've ever driven in Alum Rock before you know it's like the Wild West so brace yourself.
Great selection of food, lots of meat-free options, lovely breads, desserts... Even unlimited drinks are in the price unlike other buffet places.
Loved it. Definitely going back.
Update, April 2024: we had a big family booking. The tables were set up already against the middle and were shown to our table. Most of the people who came had not tried the place and everyone was pleased as there was something for everyone to try and for the kids. Food was good for a buffet couldn't complain.
Please note you can only stay for 2 hours, parking is on the side and will have to pay deposit for a group booking.
Prices are now £22 adults and £11 for kids. Reasonable cost for the variety of food. No one complained apart from a few dishes not to their liking in taste, but otherwise the venue and staff were fabulous.
---------------------
The choice of starters, mains, pasta, Chinese, street food and desserts were well received. Tried a fair few things and they were delicious. Cost was £20 Inc refill soft drinks. Definitely a place to meet up for food with family and friends.
One of the last good few buffet places left, prices for adult is £20, a massive variety of food , unlimited drinks plenty of desserts. If you want to try buffet places this should be at the top of your list. There is a car park for parking but it can get full very quick.
It's not a bad buffet, but it's not amazing either. Wide selection of Indo/Pak food (curries). They also do fried chicken, salads, sauces, some random "Chinese" and "Italian" food!
Their curried are decent. Again, not mind blowing with flavours, but this is expected for a buffet.
The other food is mediocre at best. Otherwise, it's poor in quality and lacks taste.
Desserts were OK.
Restaurant gets really busy and the seating is a bit cramped. Again, I was expecting this at a buffet.
The "Executive" part of their name is eyebrow raising! Nothing executive here.
£22 per head. Average price for buffet. You can only pay by card for one person per table. So if you come in a group of 6 and expect to pay individually, then only one person can pay by card. Very annoying, but they have an ATM to withdraw cash, so I guess the problem is resolved.
Overall, not a bad place. I'd come back again if with a group of guys and they all suggest it, but it personally wouldn't be my first choice!
As soon as you enter there is some weird smell initially may be a ventilation issue , The ambience is not that great or clean. Maybe they need to improve. Coming to food I liked it , it was Sunday evening 5pm. Food was fresh, HMC certified hence it was quality meet and 100% halal without any stun. Grilled lamb chops were best, mutton karahi , Nihari , chicken kebabs , chapali kebabs . I could have only starters , no place left for deserts or main course. I tasted chicken biryani, it was tasteless. If you want good starters, then this is the place.
Had taken a group of 10 family members. Have visited this restaurant 6 times in the past 2 years. They have a small range of very good starters and a variety of main dishes. Flavours and quality of food will not make you give you that "wow" feeling, however they are not all terrible either. Safe option to take out family who would like a variety of options. There is FREE limited parking so during busy times you might not find space. £22 per adult.
A highly recommended buffet option in Birmingham, offering a diverse selection of both desi and non-desi dishes.
Complimentary on-site parking is available with ample spaces.
The buffet is priced at £22 per person, with children under 5 dining free of charge.
A wide variety of traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisines are available, along with BBQ, pasta, and pizzas.
During Ramadan, samosas, spring rolls, and pakoras are offered.
Biryani, pulao, white rice, chicken fried rice, and approximately a dozen different curries are available, as well as haleem, nihari, and paaye.
There are over a dozen dessert options.
Traditional tea is included in the price of the buffet.
The establishment offers ample seating and restroom facilities.
I had to visit this restaurant for the first time, but I was very impressed by the visit. Everything is beautiful and the cost is quite reasonable. The service here is at a fairly high level, everything is fine with the kitchen. I really liked it here and at any opportunity I will certainly come here again. “thanks.
