One can have quality Indian food here.. Staff members were also very joyful n supportive... Hope to go there again whenever I get a chance!!! Good going... Keep it up and work like this only!!!
Wonderful Experience!
Lovely food, subtle and classy decor.
Service was flawless and food was delicious and not too oily.
Would recommend for sure
Went here for a large family party, the waiter service, the bar service and the hosts were fantastic and put up with all our demands and requests graciously and without erring. Fantastic place, great food and cocktails and beautiful setting for a quiet meal or large family party, would definitely recommend it.
Went for afternoon tea. It was perfect. Would definitely go again and recommend it
Excellent food and service! Beautiful surroundings and I can't recommend here enough
Just fabulous! Ambience, food, place & people
Try it you won't be disappointed
One of the fine Indian restaurants.. food delicious.. deco good.. staff friendly and highly professional.. will definitely visit again..
Really good service, arranged my sister's baby shower here and Sid was a great point of contact. Indian afternoon tea recommended.
We had an fantastic meal and amazing cocktails in a beautiful setting... would recommend Praza to anybody
A simply wonderful dining experience with amazing food, superb cocktails, and fabulous staff and surroundings. Cannot recommend Praza highly enough!
Went for the afternoon tea with family, food was of a very high standard and the staff were very attentive. The atmosphere was really pleasant and relaxing.
Another fine establishment in Birmingham. Lovely dishes, lots of choice and fabulous service from the staff. The function room facility was great for our family birthday party too. Thank you for making our night special!
We have been trying to come here for afternoon tea for the past couple of weeks. But it was always full. So on Sunday, when we had finished shopping in Selfridges and in need of peaceful refreshment, we was delighted that a space was available for 2:30.
As we arrived, there were plenty of parking spaces in a big open car park. Rare for Edgbaston. We were shown to our table straight away. We ordered the afternoon tea for two. I went with the sparkling wine, and my partner opted for the chai tea.
Our waiter then brought out an eye-catching display of fancy sandwiches, savoury treats, and very nice-looking cakes.
Each mouthful was a treat on the tongue. The well combined flavours were subtle and distinguishable. It's not overpowering, which i find too common in asian cuisine. But the chefs here got the balance spot on.
There is only a chicken sandwich on this menu. The rest is vegetarian.
The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The decor is very dark. I personally like it, but I know others that wouldn't. Especially for an afternoon tea.
The staff were really friendly, smartly dressed, and were attentive to our wants and needs.
We are definitely going to be coming back to sample the rest of their menu during the week.
We’ve been here a few times for afternoon tea! LOVE this place.. staff go above and beyond. Lovely way to spend my birthday
Praza is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Birmingham. The food is delicious, the menu is extensive and the staff friendly. There’s free parking on site.
Praza consistently delivers a delightful dining experience. Its calming atmosphere, spacious interior, and elegant decor create the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The menu features a selection of mouthwatering starters, including soya tikka and paneer tikka, followed by flavorful mains like methi chaman and paneer butter masala. The naan breads are a standout, perfectly fresh and crispy. Save room for dessert - the chocolate brownie is a must-try. With attentive service and convenient parking, dining at Praza is always a pleasure. Located in a charming setting, it offers not just great food, but a complete dining experience that keeps me coming back.
It was a random selection one evening. I ordered dinner from them. It came out really delicious and to the point. We liked it a lot. The very next day we ordered again because of its authenticity and flavourful food. This time we again ordered dinner and I called up the restaurant to tailor the spiciness and flavours. They customised the food as requested. This made my day and I will keep this as my first choice to order dinner. This is the best dinner I have had in Birmingham to date. I recommend to give it a try and they would never disappoint.
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting. For the price paid, a service well delivered and would definitely go again
Appropriately attentive service. Decent quality food.... We had vegan options for which there was ample choice. Worked out at £30 each including a large glass of wine.
Would definitely come again.
Beautiful restaurant, overpriced afternoon tea as usually cheaper for two in other places, whereby this was around £30 for one👀 but service is outstanding and non halal!!! Will be going again for dinner next time!
Enjoyed a sunday afternoon tea, slightly over priced but food was well presented and savoury items especially good not too impressed with the sweet items.
Was a hot day and too not have windows open or Aircon system would be well worth looking into.
Cocktail menu varied but again pricey for B'ham
Lovely place, great atmosphere. A nice and lovely afternoon tea. The only dissatisfaction was the sandwiches. Not enough. And no option for coffee. Just tea.
Everything that we ate tasted delicious and it was clear that it was cooked with care in the kitchen. There was no excess oil/grease in any of our food and the presentation was excellent. Everything tasted fresh. The front of house staff were very attentive and eager to look after our table. The overall experience was excellent.
From the staters we chose Amritsari Pakora and the Praza kebab platter. Everything was full of flavour, the stand out for me was the avocado marinated chicken tikka. I'd not seen it before and was happy that it was included in the platter. It was delicately spiced, mellow in flavour and the chicken was succulent and juicy.
For mains we chose the Panjabi Chicken Masala and Methi Chicken with a selection of naan and chilli naan. The methi chicken was tasty, worth trying but if you were to choose one out of the two, ask for the Panjabi chicken masala. It's an authentic home-cooked chicken curry and took me right back to my Mum's kitchen. I enjoyed this with a chilli naan, which I didn't know was a thing. It was light, crispy and carried the flavours of green chilli without the heat.
We were invited to a dinner that was hosted upstairs. It had beautiful interior and spacious seating. The staff were lovely and always available for assistance. Bathrooms were clean. The gal gappe were delightful, so was the veg curries.
Food was nice, chicken was tasty,
Service was good.
Small car park at rear.
Friendly, accommodating service complement a finer dining experience in 19C period interior augmented with sparkle.
One of the nicer Indian restaurants in the area serving great tasting dishes in a welcoming settings. Slightly expensive than a normal Indian but well worth that little extra.
I went to the Praza restaurant for a valentines meal. The service and the food were spot on. I shall be returning again really soon. 👍🏼👌🏼
