Lovely little restaurant food was lovely just the way we like. Everything was nice and warm we were given a hot plate for our currys to keep the food warm while we eat. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Will reccomend to friends and family.
The food was lovely, but there was barely any meat in the Korma like 4- 5 chunks and lots or sauce. There atmosphere was quiet due to it being New Year’s Eve so we was able to do new years count down with my BBC app. Although it would have been nice for them to have some music on in the background. Lovely service man.
Food is delicious. The owner make us feel very welcome. Service is good. Price is fair, portion is big.

I've been eating at Banu for over ten years now and have enjoyed good, friendly service and splendid vegetarian food.
The place has a sort of old-fashioned charm about it and isn't too noisy. In my opinion, it is also reasonably priced.
This evening, I had a three course meal followed by a nice coffee served with delicious silky cream as requested.
For my main meal, I had noodles with korma sauce and it was just the ticket.
I'd recommend Banu if you're visiting Birmingham alone or want a meal out with a friend or partner.

Visited for a spot of food before bed. Service was quick with very polite staff, the vegetable vindaloo was great tasting and plenty of spice, onion bargees superb also. What a find.

Arrived midweek on spec, been once before. As ever food excellent and service as friendly as could be. Early evening so I was the atmosphere! The king prawn jalfrezi was excellent and no alcohol.
