Family meal for my sister's birthday, party of 6. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really lovely, between us we tried lots of different things on the menu and they were all very good, we were all very impressed. We will definitely go back and highly recommend to others A+++
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! The staff and customer service was excellent!!! The company was fabulous it's definitely a unique place and style, well priced and definitely worth every penny, highly recommendable for a lovely evening or occasion xxxx
Beautiful food, great taste and decent portions. The staff we're all lovely too and couldn't have done more for us.
Would defiantly recommend.
My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Sabai Sabai this evening. Plenty of Vegan choices, eloquently explained and delicious food. Our waiter Shahin was fabulous, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. We shall certainly be returning. It's so lovely to go to a restaurant as vegans and be treated so lovely. Thank you x
Beautiful food and excellent service from the staff highly recommend this place
This is a special place, always picks me up, the food's always fresh and delightful. Love the ambience. Every dish I've ever had I've loved and my friends and family love it too... #TheyDeserveYourMoney #MyPickMeUp
Despite the restaurant being extremely busy on a Saturday night the service and the food was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends & family and can’t wait to go back.
Superb food, so many flavours all delicious. Something for everyone on the menu. Can’t wait to return. Many thanks.
Great restaurant that serves excellent food, has a good selection of drinks and always served with a smile. If you like Thai food, this is the place. You can park over the road at a modest price.
I've eaten in Sabai Sabai Moseley many times and I think the food is really good but as I couldn't get a table I booked the harborne branch instead.
It was very busy and had a nice lively atmosphere with people drinking attractive cocktails. The service was a little slow due to how busy they were but the food made up that. I had a green curry, very original I know but it was really nice, my boyfriend had the sea bream which tasted suspiciously like mackerel to me but who knows! We had some green pancakes with ice cream for dessert and they were really good. Sabai sabai in Moseley or harborne is a safe bet when dining in Birmingham :)
The lychee martini was excellent, and I recommend the green Thai curry!
Cost 43£ for two mains (mains do not come with a rice, these are ordered separately), two drinks (Martini and a pint of Singha), and some prawn crackers with sweet chilli.
I would recommend it, the mains were delivered after 10m, and the staff were great.
This is a popular Thai restaurant and we have been a few times, thanks to my wife's deep love of the country and its food. The staff are friendly and the food is very good. The lunchtime special is also recommended. However, it is worth mentioning that on two occasions where we have pre-booked, our table has been delayed by half an hour, and on both occasions the staff just asked us to wait by the bar, with no seats available (there is a small waiting area but this was full of people in a similar situation) and no-one offered us drinks. I had to walk into the restaurant area to get a chair for my obviously-pregnant wife. Again, more than once we have been brought the wrong drinks, even the wrong dish, and side orders have been omitted. Service can also be rather slow, although as I said before, the staff are very nice. I suppose it says a lot about the food that we keep going back despite the other failings! The atmosphere is generally relaxing too, and the decor is great.
Yummy Asian. I'm a big fan of Asian food of any sort, and actually enjoy non-traditional (ok, probably more Westernized) dishes. If I ever actually go to India, China or Japan I will probably be in for a shock, but as far as great food for that palatte goes, in Birmingham this is a great option with very good value for money.
Ordered the holy basil stir fry and the udon noodles and chicken satay and some coconut rice. Everything was lush, amazing flavours, really lovely aromas, chicken was so tender and it always is. Veggies in the dishes tasted fresh. Chicken and duck is halal. Service was excellent. Best Thai place in Birmingham. Only thing is the holy basil wasn’t as saucy as the three times I’ve ordered it before, and there wasn’t much to drench the rice with.
It's been a while since we've dined in.
Great food, great service, we went early Saturday to avoid the rush with the little one.
Had a lovely 3 course meal.
My only gripes are that I don't expect chipped bowls/plates for the price point.
Parking is a pain before 7pm. As no parking at restaurant.
Aside from that, I loved it. It's much bigger than Moseley site.
Inside the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, I’ve been to three restaurants in this chain and this was probably the best decorated. We went in the day time and it was virtually empty but the service was impeccable. The food was good but not as rich in flavour compared to the restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon. The mocktails were nice and good value for money; they weren’t just splashes of different juices in a glass.
I am not a foodie and don't like to experiment with food so was a bit nervous when friends invited me for a meal here...
My word! What absolutely delicious food there was!
I had a chicken wok stir fry with egg fried noodles. We also shared a platter.
The staff were brilliant, very polite and professional.
Our meal cost about £40 each including drinks.
I will define coming back!
Thank you to all the lovely staff!!
Back here after 7 years! We were pleasantly surprised that this place is still the best Thai restaurant we’ve ever ate at in the UK! Also pleased that Rouful was still here to serve us after all these years! Emotional to say the least! Thank you!
Amazing food and drinks. Great place for a meal with friends, family, or a date night!
I always leave feeling so full! Great portion sizes always with leftovers to take home. Highly recommend!
We had the duck curry and short rib massamum!
Food tastes nice, kind of over priced compared to other Thai restaurants. Not sure I'd go back just because there's better value for money elsewhere. Good service from Prakhar. Nice interior.

This is my second visit, and I took my mum there for Mother's Day. The food and service are always good if not pricey.
Something to be aware of is that a service charge is included (10% of the bill) but not compulsory to pay. Which I guess is normal in most establishments?
Also, they add a small fee from a charity they work with (around £2/£3), but again not compulsory to pay. The other thing to be aware of is that if you want to take home any of your meals you could not finish, you have to pay 10p per plastic takeaway box! I brought my own but left it in the car 😡. Small amounts, you may say, but it all adds up! It was an additional £11 on top of the food and drink.
I don't mind giving a tip for good food and service but I want to choose what to pay. I would visit Sabai Sabai again, though.
Really lovely food, drinks and service. We visited tonight and could not fault anything, in fact we cannot wait to go back.
The best Thai food we have had in a very long time.
We were disappointed that the table near us complained about their drink being cold and their food being spicy in what seemed to be an attempt to get money off.
The manager dispute being accused of all sorts conducting himself very professionally. We would highly recommend and will be back soon.
Absolutely love this Sabai Sabai restaurant in Harborne. The food and cocktails are always delicious. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. One of my favourite restaurants in Birmingham. They were very helpful with dietary requirements.
I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Sabai Sabai in Harborne, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming service set the tone for the evening. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special.
As we indulged in every course, it became evident that Sabai Sabai is a true culinary gem. Each dish was an explosion of flavors that transported our taste buds to Thailand. From the fragrant curries to the perfectly balanced pad Thai, every bite was a delight.
What truly stood out, aside from the incredible cuisine, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely cared about ensuring that my wife's birthday was a memorable occasion. Their dedication to making us feel comfortable and valued was heartwarming.
Sabai Sabai in Harborne is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience filled with flavorful dishes and exceptional service, look no further than Sabai Sabai. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to all of our friends!
Group meal of 10 at Sabai Sabai. Food was 10/10, very delicious, fresh and appealing. Opted for spare ribs - starter, and sharing menu for 2 - mains. Food was plentiful. Cocktails were cocktails with alcohol and nidely presented. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Venue decoration was pretty and welcoming. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return again.
This is a beautiful restaurant, with excellent food, wonderful service and a lovely chilled vibe. Even the music is good!
Molly was our server and was delightful
Great dining experience. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Food looked and tasted amazing! 😋
Impressive, food was reasonably priced, the portions were great. Attentive and friendly service, there was no pressure or up-sell, the waitor understood the menu and made sensible recommendations. Looking forward to going back.

I enjoyed the chicken starter and the main meal. I love the ambience. I recommend this restaurant for a date or evening meal with friends. The staff are professional and human too. Cool music and appealing deco. Parking is a challenge but you will get a space, if you can, walk.
