Visiting from Glasgow and had a lovely afternoon at the Canal House yesterday. What a great vibe. The staff were fantastic . I chose a Deli Plate and have to say the cheese and chicken fondue was one of the tastiest things I’ve had in a long time . Hubby’s chicken burger hit the spot and the cookie dough dessert was delicious. Defo worth a visit .

Beautiful establishment, lovely location, great service & wonderful live music! A group of us booked a cocktail masterclass & had a really enjoyable afternoon-would highly recommend it! Anthony was a superb host with great patience teaching 6 of us! The atmosphere was great, the food delicious & the service was top notch with all staff very pleasant & welcoming. This was my first time visiting The Canal House & definitely will not be my last

A really great restaurant in the middle of the best part of Birmingham. Nice canal view and large terrace. The menu and drink selection is very extensive and everything tastes so sweet. You have to look for a better atmosphere than this for a long time!?

Massive fan of the aesthetics of the building inside! Plus, the location is 10/10! We went on a very hot day, and the outside view was spot on.   Highly recommend "HANGING KEBABS"   big big fan! price was very reasonable!  and staff we're all super nice! highly recommend! -

If you don't have a reservation, they try to help you in some way. However, it might be better to book a table before going. Lovely food. I've tried fish and chips at other restaurants, but honestly, this has been the best. Exceptional and friendly service. Good music. It was our first time in Birmingham, and they even recommended different points of interest. Thank you lads! ⭕Bonus: they also have a photo booth, you have to try! 📸 5£ 4 pics and you get them instantly. You get a code to download them, as well if you also want them digitally. Lovely 😍📸

Service was good and the food served quite quickly. The chicken kebab was tasty and so were the fries that come with it but they were like warm, I was part of a large group to be fair and it could be because all the food got brought out at the same time. It's £16.50 for essentially 4 lumps of chicken and a couple of mushrooms on the hanging kebab (see my pictures) so not particularly filling.

Food was stunning, absolutely loved it here, tho the gentleman who served us failed to inform of the mettle being hot (should be common sense to know they would be) but it caused me to burn my fingers when I went to move them which I did inform one of the staff members and she was honestly very respectful, welcoming and gave a very warm energy. The other colleague who served at the start seemed like he was fed up and didn’t want to be working there which did ruin the energy felt like I had done something to upset him. Hopefully will have a better time on my next visit.

An absolutely stunning spot with so much attention to keeping guests cosy, including great heating, cute throws and beautiful lights. We were sitting in what used to be the garden area that has now been redone. The farmhouse/barn kinda vibe against the canalside is perfect for a date night or any kind of friends and family meal. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and there was live music around 7pm also. We tried the Christmas drinks and the cocktails were lush. For food, we ordered the calamari in starters, sharing hanging kebab and cookie dough in pretzel and s'mores option. The sharing kebab portion size was smaller than we hoped for the price and description but the dessert made up for this! Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely recommend visiting.

Was in Birmingham for a works meeting and we stopped in here for Dinner. So very pleased we did. Firstly the building is beautiful with a really scenic location. The atmosphere inside was brilliant and the staff fantastic. The Hanging Kebabs are worth every penny and the vegetarian/vegan options are plentiful. If you get a chance check them out as their food and drink are some of the best in the area.

Really lovely place, love how they have done the pergola . Food lovely Downside , ,wine is vastly overpriced compared to other venues! Loved going there in the summer ,not sure how that will work now as there is no open space outside .

Had a great time at the canal house. Greeted by some very friendly staff who were very attentive throughout the visit. The food was served up extremely fast after ordering, impressively so. For atmosphere, the restaurant building itself is stunning, live music was on in the lower level but also hooked up to the speakers so you could hear it clearly in the background while eating. The outside area looked great for the summer, and I will definitely be returning.
