The paella is a must have! There is a large range of tapas- i would definitely return! & there is a nice atmosphere too. Clean and friendly restaurant.

The joy of going to a "bar" with the kids. Relax... Bar Estilo is a family friendly, fresh, and relaxed restaurant in The Mailbox, overlooking the canal end.
I visited Bar Estilo on a bright and sunny British summer day with the family and the first thing that struck me was the friendly staff who were quick to bring my daughter some colouring pencils and paper. The restaurant is extremely light and nature-friendly with cane furniture and lovely green plants on each table. The windows and doors were open on the day, letting in the sun and cool breeze, which all added a certain calmness to the ambiance.
Since we were just taking a breather of sorts from walking around, the bread basket with some olives and a couple more finger food items were sufficient. Moreover, their strawberry mocktail (can't remember the exact name) turned out to be wonderfully refreshing.
A great place to sit and relax at The Mailbox, Bar Estilo gets full points on service and ambiance, and I do hope to experiment more with their food offerings at a later date.
Amazing! Seriously a must go! The food was delicious and service was fantastic. We had a great night and really glad we picked this place. We had nachos to share and tapas no mains.

Lovely staff and scrumptious food..we had some piri piri chicken with sweet potato fries and it was just out of the world. The chicken was juicy and the sauce was perfect. We also tried the chicken quesadillas which came with salsa and they were cooked to perfection. The flavor was really nice. Next we tried the honey glazed chicken with Spanish rice. It was so so..I honestly didn't like the concept of sweet rice as the chicken and sauce were sweet already.
Overall the service was quick, the ambience was lovely and the food was good.
Fabulous restaurant with cheerful helpful staff. I started with moist and extremely flavorful lamb koftas and them had grilled halloumi with spiced chick peas and spinach and it was just gorgeous. Excellent food and in a beautiful location. Definite for a revisit.
A good bet. Eaten here a number of times. Cocktails are great and the wine list is good. If you're out with friends and fancy some convivial tapas, or you're taking that special lady or man out for a romantic dinner, or you want to go to a restaurant for a grown up dinner, then it can cover all of those bases. Service is always swift and the food tasty. It's on the pricier side but you'll get starter and main for under £20. Tapas is especially lovely - yum!

Great resturant! The service is excellent, the menu is broad with something for everyone. The setting is cool and is very good value.
The tapas and the dessert were so delicious. Patats Bravas is a must.The main course was not so bad. Lovely place too with reasonable prices, would recommend it.

Decent place, located in Birmingham city centre. Food not special could be tastier but great variety. I liked the chicken quesadellia. Rum punch was delicious. Ambience was OK. Service was really good.
Nice restaurant, we booked for mother's day. The food was ok, but won't come back. Didn't like the high sits, very uncomfortable. Overall it's not bad, just doesn't have the wow factor.
Once in a while, it’s nice stopping here for a quick pint and some nibbles. Haven’t eaten here for a while and was pleasantly surprised about the menu change. The options look so much more appetizing than before. The food was cooked well. The team there is also friendly and very helpful.
Popped in for a quick drink before a concert at the utilita arena (that's around a 15 min walk from Bar Estilo). Ended up having a plate of nachos to share too. Really good, quick service, very tasty foot and nice drinks. A little pricey but isn't everywhere nowadays! Worth a visit especially as it's between the parking for the arena and the arena itself.
Had a lovely meal, really tasty vegetarian options and fantastic and attentive service. Thank you for making our anniversary meal so special!
We arrived there with my friend after 9 as our last hope as the restaurant close the kitchen earlier. But we were lucky to receive the beautiful service and had few to place our food order. Wooow amazing the Menue the food gorgeous 😍 😋 ✨️ ❤️ 💕 the service very good. We even came back the next day in the evening.... I give Estilo 5 🌟 🤩
Lovely meal and a very strong but delicious sangria. Service was spot on to. Have been coming here on and off for years and never disappoints. (Apart from a rude waitress once years ago 😂😂)
Food was amazing - can’t wait to come back and try some other things off their menu! Service was above and beyond. And the atmosphere is busy (and pleasant) but no wonder - it is just a great place to eat and drink.

They say Birmingham is the second City after London but tonight it felt like the first city. We decided to dine out in the amazing Mail Box Birmingham, bang in the middle of the city centre. The atmosphere was electric, eclectic, it just felt nice. We all agreed to go to Bar Estilo, tonight for our meal, it was full, every table was taken so I half expected the food to be rushed but honestly it was amazing. I asked around the table and unanimously the feedback was positive.
We all ordered different dishes and so we had a lovely mixture of foods on the table. I ordered the chicken wings, and the duck wraps and garlic prawns. My sister ordered calamari, my brother ordered chicken skewers, calamari octopus, pili pili prawns. My brothers wife ordered a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. Saturday night was buzzing and it just felt nice.
My sister booked another table for next weekend that’s how good it was. The staff were amazing they were attentive and even brought my brother a birthday cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. We sometimes forget that London is not the only place to go out for a nice evening out. I really recommend this place and the mailbox in general.
Superb evening here last night. Atmosphere is great. Food is superb, very easy to pile in on the dishes, prawn dishes are excellent. Drinks have some flare and the service is spot on, George did a great job looking after our table, top guy. 💪

First time here and all round excellent. The location was superb, the food was delicious and cocktails were spot on. Staff were friendly and the service excellent.
Tried our luck on a crowded Saturday evening and found nice places to sit and eat. The food and choices are pretty decent for the price. The menu is quite international, from Iberian to Latin American to a little MENA food.
Chicken Thigh is surprisingly good, with crispy skin.
BBQ ribs are tasty, less heavy than the common bbq sauce but with a little sweet chili flavor. Pork belly is tender. Lamb kofta is very flavorful, adequately spiced.
Halloumi Fritters are also nice. The sauce has a bright passion fruit taste. Octopus Gallego is not a wow either, but the potato is super creamy.
The Estilo Paella tastes good and has good portion of seafood and Al dente rice, but coming in a quality nonstick pan means there’s no more crispy socarrat..
Overall service is friendly. The only thing might be that the tapas plates all arrived at the same time, which was quite a wait for a starving table.
Me and my partner first chose to go to a Spanish chain, didn't really like it so we decided to go to Bar Estilo for the mains. I ordered a seafood Paella, my partner ordered the special Estilo paella. For dessert we ordered a portion of the churros that was delicious! Overall it was a great place to eat at, the food was amazing! Definitely will be back.
Very attentive waiters and great overall service. The waitress was very friendly and nice. If you can only get 1 thing, get the baked goat’s cheese with honey!! It’s AMAZING. We also got veggie paellas which were really good and a crab cake (I personally did not really like this but my friends did).
My absolute favourite restaurant in all of Birmingham! Go to it every opportunity I get! The food and sangria are absolutely superb with so many standout dishes that make you want to come back time after time! The staff are attentive and service is always speedy! Couldn't recommend enough! PS: the pork belly is a must have!
I love this restaurant and the food is always great. I live close to it so go there a lot, and have done for years now so have seen a lot of staff come and go. One thing I would say is, there’s an older man who is the floor manager, who really needs to chill out a bit. He never looks happy, and seems to have a go at the waiting staff and chefs all the time. All the waiting staff are great and always excellent. Having been coming here for so many years now, I have seen floor managers manage the staff with a smile, rather than waving their arms about and shouting at them all the time. We go in so often I know his attitude is not a one off incident. When people treat staff like this it makes me feel very uneasy. This place has such a wonderful atmosphere but he really brings it down. Please be kinder to your staff! He may just be stressed out but just makes me feel bad for the staff who are doing a great job.
