A beautiful restaurant serving delicious Indian food. The service was rapid and we got all our food within 10 minutes. The staff were amazing and very hospitable. The atmosphere is lovely and the tables were very clean. I was impressed with the restaurant's dedication to its customers with dietary r
Best Indian food in the city centre. Wild thing is, service is so quick no matter how packed the restaurant is. Their design is beautiful and the staff are always there to help with the menu as can get a bit complicated for me. Their curries are one of the best in Birmingham. Been there with work ma
There was a bit of waiting for odd hours in the weekend. Staffs were friendly and descriptive, it even felt that they would start giving free classes now 😂 We order 2 thalis with different curry bowls. Taste was top notch but the prices were on the higher end. (Not sure about non thali items)
We ordered a number of dishes, highlights were the keralan lamb curry and chicken khurana - SENSATIONAL!!! Also recommend the peshwari naan, chaat bombs and mango lassi! It gets incredibly busy, highly recommend booking in advance!
One of the best Asian restaurants I've tried. Everything is perfect. Always busy so pre reserving is recommended especially if you are a group as sometimes waiting can be long
Great food!!! We went for a special occasion and although I kept changing my reservation time, the team were understanding and supportive. It was absolutely packed when we went on a Tuesday night. Hard to get hold of someone when we needed additional drinks. A shame they didn’t take my request into
The food was lovely, the atmosphere was a vibe but the service was ok. They made us wait quite a while for our bill. We eventually had to get up and pay at the counter. I do recommend tho because the food is halal and quite tasty. We had the butter chicken and the railway lamb.
Lovely food! As a curry lover was so impressed with this place, was very busy but we were seated fairly quickly after a nice pint at the bar. Had a selection of dishes, the tama chips are to die for & the curries were fantastic. Had a railway lamb & a homestyle chicken curry, both were so tasty. Wil
Went here for two celebrations in the last month and the food is devine! The service was a bit slow but on one occasion they were a bit busy. Their mocktails were nice too (a tad bit too sweet for me but they were happy to top it up with soda water). I would definitely visit again though to try thei
Loved the place and the ambience. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. They were courteous and polite. We went for the vegetarian options and had Paneer Makhani which was absolutely delicious. The portion size was perfect and was good enough for two of us. It came with 2 naans. We ordered 1 set of rot
Located in the heart of Birmingham, Tamatanga is a haven for those craving flavorful halal cuisine at affordable prices. From succulent kebabs to aromatic biryanis, every dish delights the palate with its deliciousness. Despite the bustling crowds, the restaurant maintains efficient service, ensurin
We didn't book and turned up on the off chance we could get in, it was a busy Friday evening. We had to wait about 20 minutes, we sat in the bar and had a drink and when our table was ready our waitress came to collect us. We ordered our food and it came about pretty quickly about 15 minuite wait.
Amazing cocktails that are well worth it with the 2 for 1 deals before 7pm, the portions were large and the curry was absolutely delicious. Me and my family left very satisfied!
Best Indian restaurant I ever tried 🥹 The spicy chicken curry is absolutely amazing! Also bravo Sanija K! Gave us lovely advices that help us make brilliant choices!
Love this place! .. best flavours, great service, great cocktails .. try the hair of the dog! .. the food is so well presented and soooo tasty ... Back soon! ... Came back .. had the Thalia .. amazing! ..
Amazing experience. This place is vibrant with delicious food. You get to taste most of the items in Thali.
The atmosphere was good, the food was good, we had paneer makhani, amd it was awesome. The veggi biryani was just good, not as good as paneer makhani. The price is reasonable considering thw fact that it is in city center. I will go for sure for next time. I also forgot to mention about the drink,
Overall really good place to have Indian food! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and food is delicious. Love their chaat so flavourful and salmon was yum. Some of Indian curries could’ve more flavour but no complaint. We ordered too much and had to ask for doggy bag ;)
Excellent Indian restaurant situated between New St Railway Hub and The Mailbox. Staff were happy and helpful. Food was very good no complaints
