Absolutely unreal food every time I visit. I must eat here at least every month because it’s just SO good. I’m a fussy vegetarian and the fact they have so much for veggies/vegans makes it so much better.
The staff are always so helpful and friendly (especially the young lads on the bar!) this is by far my favourite ever restaurant!
The food here is excellent! We ordered the Soho Mixed Grill, Butter Chicken and Garlic naan. It was full of flavour, great masala’s and spices and huge portion sizes. It was cooked fresh to order. This is the best grill place to visit in Birmingham! The price is good value considering the quality of the food and portion size. The staff were friendly and helpful. We came from London and would come back here!
Visiting this tavern is always a gastronomic delight! 😌 As someone not from the UK, every visit here leaves me in awe of the incredible flavors and dishes they offer. The food is simply insane, and I mean that in the best possible way. The bathrooms are also always clean which is a plus for sure!

Unreal Grill and Curry House in Birmingham. Grilled meats are just the best around. The traditional Asian curry dishes are unbelievably tasty; both meat and vegetarian. Portions very good value for money and generous. I'll make the trip up from Bristol multiple times per year because it's that good. Staff are polite and friendly. Atmosphere, warm and welcoming with a posh-pub like feel. A well priced bar with alcoholic drinks available. Live Sports on TV, upstairs seating, and balcony/outdoor seating in suitable weather. Can get very busy suggest booking in advance on a Fri/Sat evening. 100% recommend to anyone for mixed-grills and curries. Always make sure to order a side of the famous Chilli Chip!!
Also plenty of take away boxes and bags to fill up with left overs to take home.
One of my favourite spots to chill at mid-week watching sports, eating grub, and having a beer with friends as a student in the City.
Only downside, parking an be difficult so recommend a taxi or Uber especially, if you plan to have a drink.

Queueing system seems chaotic as they take your phone number and put you in a long, seemingly unordered queue, and phone signal is pretty bad in there so you're often sat wondering whether you're actually gonna get a table, but it seems to work and eventually your turn comes around.
Small mixed grill and a naan is always enough for me. Plenty of meat on the chicken wings and the lamb is nice and spicy.
Best grill in Birmingham, hands down. The food is amazing. I always prefer the veggie grill mix. The portion is huge and if spitting between two you will both need a takeaway box. The price is really good for the quality and portion.
Incredible food... Huge portions! Order your drinks at the bar, and order the food at the kitchen... Cheap prices too.

The new makeover is good too. Not as cramped as before.
We would recommend table service for the drinks using a mobile phone system. This would save a lot of time and make the bar far less crowded.
I have been to Soho Tavern multiple times, and I absolutely love it! The food is excellent, with generous portions and decent prices. As a cocktail person, I must say that their signature drink, the Soho Fiesta, is my absolute favorite. The combination of great food, reasonable prices, and fantastic cocktails make Soho Tavern a must-visit Indian restaurant and bar.

Fabulous place!! The food looks and smells incredible and the choice is amazing! The drinks and cocktail options are fab- they do wonderful Passionfruit Mojitos! And the service is brilliant. Friendly and charismatic staff, who make you feel very welcome!
The best food ever I had in Birmingham. Price is also reasonable and it's Grill Plates are must try.
