Amazing burger at OPM! The slaw and spiced fries were so good, we wolfed it down in about 5 minutes. Love the artwork on the paper wrapping and service was also great. We only had to wait around 10 minutes for food to be served. Would definitely recommend!

Not the best… not the worst.. I’ve been aiming to eat from here for years but always said I’d visit the restaurant. Realising this experience just keeps getting delayed so instead did a delivery. The fries were fantastic. I think fresh in the restaurant they would have been amazing. The burger… it was nice and kinda all the tastes you expect from a burger of this standard. And would definitely recommend dropping in or ordering a beef burger. I had the bbq burger. But wasn’t the most spectacular of burgers or something that set a new bar of best ever kinda like I expected. It was slightly dry in places and expected something a little more moist. The sauce is their burger sauce, which was nice but wouldn’t have noticed any difference to something budget like a crucials sauce. The bbq taste on the burger was non existent, but probably not helped by that cheese being so damn good.

I ordered Cheasy-E burger. Really tasty. But the package of the food have heavy ink smell. It makes the food have ink smell. Really good and tasty food. But the ink smelling :( Btw, it’s confusing to find the entry door.😅

I had a cream soda and a double bacon cheeseburger. The burger would have been very good if it weren't that salty (too salty for me). The service and waiting time were good. The area where the restaurant is located is not very nice and the music is very loud. People have to shout at each other to understand each other which makes it even louder. Maybe it's intended so that people do not stay too long.

I've eaten here a couple times and the food is brilliant. Best burgers in Birmingham and reasonable sides. Staff are friendly too.

Great place tucked away near Moor Street station. Superb burgers, veggie ones too, and great range of soft and alcoholic drinks. Great puddings. Friendly staff. I went for a cheesy burger with extra patty that put McDonald's in it's place. A Sanford cider and deep fried apple pie and cold custard. Now bring back the chilli fries. Best fish ever.

I have only been once before and it was many years ago, but OPM did and still does exceed expectations 🥹 staff were so friendly and accomadating. I had the cheeseburger with boneless nuggets, slaw & ODB fries and everything was delicious. Thehighlight for me is the bossman burger sauce!! Did get extra greedy and had the chocolate brownie for dessert which was also lovely 😌

I had a lovely lunch here, and needed the iced raspberry lemonade on this hot day.

First time eating in the restaurant on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Small selection of good beers available, and a range of specials on the blackboard to supplement the normal menu. The burgers are superb, the black and blue special a particular favourite, and the fried sweetcorn is stunning.

Really enjoyed this place, great atmosphere and interesting venue. Food was ok, the menu seemed to lack creativity though, noting 'out there' or unusual to make it exciting. For a place that only does burgers I kind of expected an interesting selection, the Donna burger was good, sauce was nice, the wings were way too salty for me though, they needed more flavour and spice and less salt. Would probs stop in if I was passing on a Tuesday afternoon but don't think I'd make it a Saturday night treat again. That said, the place the company and the atmosphere made it a good night.

My go-to burger place in Birmingham. I’ve been a number of times and have never been disappointed. Wing Wednesday is also a must - their wings are as good as their burgers. The service is always very good too. It’s often busy but it’s always worth the wait - their bar next door is good for a drink while you wait for your table.

Have heard good things about OPM for a while now so whilst in Birmingham we decided to give it a try ! The food was excellent and the OBD fries are ridiculous absolutely delicious I had a chicken burger and the rest if the table tried the other burgers on the menu we also shared some of the wings which were again very nice positive feedback from everyone at the table we will definitely be back for more of hopefully the same amazing food.

We had tried and loved Original Patty Men burgers a few years ago at a food festival in Digbeth and were keen to try them again in their restaurant. I was not sure where it was so we followed the directions on my fiancé’s phone. I was surprised when I got there because I’d walked past lots of times. The restaurant is round the corner from Moor Street car park in one of the converted railway arches on Shaw’s Passage. It’s not clear to me from the outside that it is a burger restaurant on the inside. The tiny sign high up on the outside says O.P.M. and that’s it. In all the times that I’ve walked past and ended up in Five Guys, I did not know that O.P.M. was actually Original Patty Men. Maybe a simple sign outside saying ‘Burgers’ would let people know what culinary delights you’re hiding under those arches. Inside, I’d describe the decor as black, wooden and industrial which suits the location wonderfully. The place was very clean, including the toilet. The waitresses were smiley, attentive and seated us straight away. We ordered: Organic Razza & Organic Karma Cola (£3.50 per 300ml bottle). Pricey but part of the proceeds go to the families who grow the cola nuts in Sierra Leone. Naked Fries (£3.00). These were very moreish, crispy and tasty. The barbecue sauce and mayo dips came in little disposable clear plastic tubs. I hope these are washed and reused to avoid contributing to single use plastic. The waitress was very helpful in explaining what Alabama sauce was to me (black pepper and mayonnaise, what is known as the white barbecue sauce) so we ordered Alabama Fries (£3.75). That sauce was as tasty as she made it sound! Bacon Cheeseburger (£11.00). This was inhaled almost as quickly as it appeared on the table so I guess it was nice! I went for the Pineapple Express Burger (£11.50). I thought I’d go for the crazy option that I’d never seen on any other burger menu. The texture of the burger patty was nice and it had a very hot taste due to the chillis that were under the patty. I ate it all but wouldn’t order it again as the greenish pineapple relish wasn’t really for me. It had the watery texture like that of a watermelon and a weird smell. Boneless Nuggz side (£5.50). Now, these are what I’m talking about! Crispy batter made with all kinds of spices (I think I could taste paprika and Chinese five spice in there) coating that tender chicken… I didn’t want to share these. I would happily order these as a main course next time and I told that to the waitress in the hope that I will be able to! We also ordered a side of wings off the specials board. I think they were called Butter Chicken Curry Wings (£6.00). The meat was very moist and the abundance of sauce was great for dipping the Naked Fries into. Now, I know where it is, I will be going back soon to try more food and drink! P.S. Going back to my earlier point on not knowing what O.P.M. meant on the restaurant sign, I’m holding the receipt right now to help me write this review. The receipt says O.P.M. on the top. My fiancé, who I came here with last weekend, just asked me, “What is O.P.M.?”

DELICIOUS! Best burgers I’ve eaten in awhile. So thick and juicy. Cooked to perfection. Their dessert was so good as well! Customer service was superb. Place can be a bit hard to locate. 10/10 🍔
