Beautiful interior. We had a selection of vegetarian small plates including a cold mezze sharing platter. The food was really tasty and made for a great lunch. Staff were attentive. A very pleasurable experience in between trains.
Food was tasty and light. A different cuisine which makes a nice change and I look forward to coming here again. This is a place where you can have a healthy dinner and feel fulfilled. The decor was awesome - you can see a lot of thought has gone into it and in no way is it overwhelming.
There is only one toilet which meant there was always two or three people waiting.
It was a busy Saturday evening when I visited with my friends, but atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant.
Delicious food. Great service and lovely ambience. Food was oozing with flavour. For the price, portions can be bigger but flavour made up for it. Definitely recommend paying a visit.
Had a really good time trying out some new food recently! Everything tasted amazing, and it was nice to switch things up a bit. Emmanuela was super helpful and recommended some great dishes. Glad I went for it – made the whole experience even better.
Our first visit to a Lebanon restaurant. We couldn't choose but Dhaur the waiter helped us choose and was very nice and helpful. The portion of food was big for us and we had one starter and two main courses. We finished it off with dessert which was amazing! A very good experience for us and definitely not our last visit to Lebanon cuisine :)
Really lovely place for a meal, it was recommended to me by a friend about 6 months ago, and we finally got to try it out today. The food was delicious, really fresh and tasty, and the restaurant was very busy but didn’t feel rushed or overseen. We had 2 servers through our visit, and both were lovely, friendly and suggested ways to make the tea at home too. There was a 12.5% service charge, but for 2 of us having mains, desserts, 2 cold drinks and a rose mint tea, £51 including the tip was absolutely fair. We were STUFFED afterwards, so very much worth it! We both agree that if there was one in Lincoln, where we live, we’d make it a mission to try everything on the menu!!
Went there with a bunch of good friends and great company.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and crowd at Comptoir Libanais Birmingham. Met the chef, he was awesome and the staffs were amazing too.
Price range is great for anyone who wants to get good cooked and delicious food. I had the spiced hot chocolate and then the mixed grill.
Had a Great time with my Coding friends✌️
The atmosphere was really nice the deco of the restaurant was beautiful. Food was 10/10. I had the sea bass, it was well cooked, the flavours perfect, and the service was brilliant.
The only downside is only 1 toilet, which even the staff uses.
Definitely go again when I am in Birmingham again.
This place!
We went to 4 restaurants before coming back to this one. I’ve never tried Lebanese Food, but there’s a first time for everything.
We were greeted on arrival and ushered to our seats, given a menu and also the restaurant exclusive menu for savings too.
It was rather quiet at first but that may have been due to timing. It soon filled up, very quick. Initially I was confused and lost as to what to eat, but through process of elimination I chose a dish I thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was very authentic, the decor was authentic enhancing the vibe, the music added to the ambiance, the service was friendly and the food was brilliant! Much better than I expected. It gave me my first taste of Lebanon and I loved it! I enjoyed this experience much more than I thought I would. You literally forget your sat in Birmingham!
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you 💫.
What could be improved: Being pedantic, I’d say, the waiters/waitresses would look great in authentic uniform.
Beautiful food which looks great and tastes good. First time here and we were not disappointed. The range of drinks could be better but like that everything has a local vibe. The kids menu is good too.
Fantastic cuisine and first-rate care. Everything about the trip was wonderful. The staff was incredibly responsive, proactive, and cordial. Although I usually oppose mandatory service charges, I was happy to pay the 10% fee in exchange for the excellent service. I ordered the mixed grill, and my dining companion ordered the chicken kofta burger. Both dishes were prepared to absolute precision and were incredibly filling and flavorful. The salad and rice were also very tasty and fresh. The drink menu has a decent selection to suit everyone. Definitely interested in returning shortly.
I recently dined at Comptoir Libanais, and I must say, the food was indeed impressive and well worth the money. The flavors and authenticity of the Lebanese cuisine were a delightful culinary experience.
Service was commendable, and this is where Alessandra truly shone. Not only did she serve as our waitress, but she also took on the roles of receptionist and bartender. It was evident that she was single-handedly running the entire establishment during our visit. However, this situation left me feeling somewhat uncomfortable.
It's clear that Alessandra's dedication and multitasking skills are remarkable, but it's not fair for one person to bear the responsibility of running an entire restaurant. The establishment appeared to be understaffed, and it was disheartening to see her rushing around tirelessly to provide a seamless experience for diners.
In light of this, I would like to extend my gratitude to Alessandra for her exceptional efforts, but I also strongly recommend that the management consider hiring more staff. No one should have to work so tirelessly, and it's essential for both the employees and customers that the workload is distributed more reasonably to maintain the high quality of service that Comptoir Libanais aims to provide.
The food was pretty good! Has a very nice interior and a nice vibe to the restaurant.

We went on a Monday, so it was quite and the server, seated us straight away and even made us choose the table we liked the most. He was so accommodating and helpful and gave us some recommendations on what to have. The food arrived piping hot so quickly and was served with a smile. The explosion of flavours was unbelievable! Everything looked amazing and sooo fresh. As a lover of sides and salads this is a paradise! Definitely recommend for the quick and efficient service and the warm and welcoming staff members. 10/10
I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was exceptional, and the ambiance was beautiful. The flavors were just perfect, and the service was excellent. It's definitely worth the money spent. Highly recommended!
A nice place to have your food in, variant Middle Eastern cousin. it is based in first floor Birmingham grand central, smaller than the other branches and different theme, not flowery, but the staff is very responsive and quick to get you the order. A bit pricey!
Restaurant is located in grand central station.
Walked in for a lunch on Friday, luckily they had a table available.
Really good service, the manager was very friendly and helpful with choosing food and changing my salad to chips 😂
The Food was really nice, it came quickly and it was at affordable pricing. We tried some of the fresh fancy juices too, which I recommend to try and chose a simple wrap and burger.
The Restaurant decoration was quirky but nice, no music, so was good to actually have a conversation too and a clean venue. I Recommend and would come back again too.
