Once again the new winter menu did not disappoint. I had the garlic bulb starter and my husband had the winter vegetable creamy soup. Both starters were generous and filling. We opted for starter size mains one being the rabbit lasagna and I had the seafood linguine. The two mains were delicious but defeated us both as we were stuffed. My mouth was black from the seafood sauce on the pasta ( not recommended for a first date) Too full for dessert finished with a limoncello. The bill came to less than £40 with drinks. The staff were very attentive and even finished with a complimewntary flaming sambuca and chorus of. Happy birthday when they discovered this was the reason for our visit. oBooking is advised as it does get busy but this in no way affects the service we received.

I can’t add another review, but I must say their new winter menu is amazing! Couldn’t recommend this place to eat!
Amazing food, super friendly staff and great service! This Italian place should be on everyone’s list, it is soooo good. Staff are amazing and are the stand out!
If you love authentic Italian Food (and drinks), provided to you by passionate Italians who love what they do, and you also want to try the different foods of any one of the 21 Italian Regions (the menu changes regularly, moving on to a different region each time), then you won't do better anywhere in the West Midlands than booking a table at Buonissimo in Harborne, Birmingham. We have been for the first time today, but we'll definitely be going back, and as soon as we can.
1st time here, it was a birthday celebration party of 6. Food was amazing!!! I had deep fried goals cheese, Crispy Pork Belly and tiramsu ( the best I've ever tasted) the service was attentive small bijou family restaurant that doesn't need to change a thing. Looking forward to going again
Really excellent service, love this local spot. It feels super family friendly and classy for a evening meal. I loved the wine and the pasta, the portion sizes were perfect and the dessert was great. I've had affogato and tiramisu here before and loved both. The staff are really attentive
Very good traditional Italian. Very tasty. Surprisingly good value. I'll visit again if I'm hungry near Harbourne. I'd recommend a visit if you like Italian.
Good Italian food, with good service. Very tasty. If I'm hungry near Harbourne again, I'll remember it. I'd recommend it.
We had a great evening. The taste reminded me a meal we had back in Napoli, obviously it's not the same but the feeling was very similar. The service was friendly and atmosphere was great. Highly recommended and I'll go back again.
Absolutely delicious! Lovely restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing. Would recommend
Google says I am among Top 10% who reviews Italian restaurants (I do go to Italy often and also Italian restaurants elsewhere) so I might have a say here.
After going to another Italian restaurant in Harborne I had to adjust my expectation (because their food is not even above average). But this one surprised me, in a good way! Service is very friendly and interior is cozy. The food, while being adapted to the British style, is amazing! Would be happy to come back.
