It was a quick stop for an early supper but my oh my, this was worth that stop.
We came right when they were just opening. Service and food was excellent. Highly attentive service, overall it was very enjoyable.
Will definitely return again! :)
It was bleak. The wind howled and the rain fettered. In the warmth of Resorts World lay Andy Water’s unassuming restaurant.
As I entered I was warmly welcomed by the well presented staff. They kindly offered to take my luggage and see me to my seat. The upmarket, comfortable, clean setting resounded as I was led to my table. As I sat looking at the menu I felt at ease. The dishes were British and the format simple, 2 courses £30 or 3 for £39. I chose the latter; in addition to the 3 courses I was presented with a celeriac soup and amuse bouche of assorted breads. The 3 courses were beautifully presented and served with care by the salt of the earth Birmingham serving staff.
The food was delicious, the pick of which was the dessert. The peanut parfait is arguably the finest dessert I have eaten, textures range from crunch of the biscuit to the crack of the caramelise butter to the to softness smoothness of the caramel. A tour de force dish.
This is fine dining value, delivered attentively. Loved it.
Good food and reasonably priced.
Had a lovely Birthday meal here on Saturday evening. Staff were great. Our wine waiter was very helpful. The stater and main were amazing. One little critism was that we had the early sitting, I didn't like any of the desserts and asked for the cheese board. No one explained I would be charged £9 plus the £2.95 surcharge. Instead of £4 plus a surcharge. My husbands dessert cost £4. So just be aware.
Good service and tasty Sunday lunch. Decent value, enjoyable decor, nice toilets. Worth a visit.
We visited for Sunday lunch with 2 toddlers and 2 babies. They have a child menu, brought crayons and paper for the children and baby chairs. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was of good quality and enjoyable. It's a nice treat in an upscale setting.
It's located upstairs within a outlet shopping centre.
Parking is cheap and plentiful, you just need them to validate your ticket.
Delicious food - three courses of sheer indulgence and enjoyment. Coupled with a decent bottle of wine and a good view over the water, my wife and I really enjoyed our outing. The shopping surrounding the restaurant is also good if you want to make an afternoon of it. Parking a little on the steep side though.
The food was good, the service excellent! Went with a larger group and the staff made certain that we were taken care of! The cocktails were fabulous as well! Would highly recommend going there for a drink over Highline which is just near by. Would recommend and visit again next time in Birmingham.
Excellent food, service, presentation, taste and price. I have eaten in many top restaurants in London to include Michelin star however this was better than any. We were in Birmingham for a concert but will definitely be back just to return to this wonderful restaurant. Compliments to the chefs and staff. Defo 5 star. Thank you so much
Elegant feeling restaurant. Very attentive staff. Food was lovely. Plenty of it which I wasn't expecting. Worth a visit
My boyfriend and I had an amazing meal here over the Christmas period, we both said it was probably the best meal we have ever had out. The staff were lovely, We will certainly be going back. The steak was just perfect.
