Went for afternoon tea for my Mom's birthday on Saturday afternoon. Originally we sat outside as it was lovely and sunny, the staff said they would keep our table reserved inside just incase the wasps got too much...which they did as soon as the food came out, the staff were very helpful in helping us carry our drinks and food inside. I opted for gluten free sandwiches and thought it was great that I got to choose 2 fillings for my sandwiches. It was all very filling, and we got given boxes to take home cakes we didn't manage to eat. Would definitely recommend, great value for money and extremely filling!

Popped in for a quick bite and a cuppa on a walk with my littlest monkey and was not disappointed. Most tables were already booked and reserved. You do need to reserve first if you are coming for afternoon tea, luckily this was midday on a Wednesday and a table was available until 2:00. Plenty of time (also a very good sign this was going to be special!) The decor and tableware gives a bright modern victoriana vibe. I ordered a nursery tea for monkey and a cuppa with a ploughman for myself. Service was lovely, monkey lapped up the cooing and extra attention, and after asking for a plastic beaker one was provided. My food was good but the nursery tea that monkey had was something else! Two tier plate stuffed with cake, jelly, biscuits and sweets (oh... and some perfectly cut triangular sandwiches ). Be warned, the nursery tea was a lot of food for a child under 8... My monkey is nearly 2 and she had a darn good go, but needed help to polish it off (my excuse anyway...) We also made a complete mess but the professional staff took it in their stride, and we both felt well looked after. Thoroughly recommend this place. Next time I'm booking a table and bringing the family. Thank you Tea Shop!
We had a wonderful afternoon there celebrating our daughter's birthday with her friends. Beautiful junior afternoon tea, and equally lovely adult afternoon tea!
Nice selection of cakes and sandwiches. A nice setting and atmosphere. Might be seen as a bit pricey.

We hired out The Tea Room for my cousins bridal shower and the service has been beyond hospitable. The owners took account of all our needs and requirements even went out their way to provide us halal chicken sandwiches.
A very intimate place to take your friends and family, beautiful set up and lovely staff members.

Absolutely lovely little place. Very tasty food and delicious desserts. Very nice friendly staff. If you visit check out the rear wall of the rest room. I won't spoil it by telling you but it's brilliant. 😁
Had Afternoon Tea here for my 40th Birthday treat with family and friends. Sarah handled the two dietary requirements without issue. My little girl had her own mini Afternoon Tea which she loved. The tea room has a lovely vintage decor and atmosphere. We all enjoyed the yummy food delivered on three tier cake stands. A good variety of savory and sweet treats. Enjoyed our visit today.
Sarah and her team have got the balance right. They have all social distancing and hand sanitizer available. The best thing though is the great food and service you receive. Well worth the visit. This was our second time in three days
The Tea Shop in Barnt Green is one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I have been coming here for over a year regularly and it never fails to impress. I have just had my wedding reception here as a private hire event and it truly added to the magic of our special day. I can't recommend enough!
Wonderful experience, proper afternoon tea, all hand made. Relaxed atmosphere and great service, tea topped up at no extra charge and a box to take home anything you can't eat! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Lovely cream tea there today. Everything beautifully presented and very tasty. Staff very helpful and obliging, adjusting the standard cream tea to fit our needs. Booking recommended as very busy. We will be going back again soon.
Quaint and pretty tea room with traditional tea sets. Lovely gift shop to nose around. Service impeccable and food is all fresh and extremely tasty. Had a fabulous afternoon. Definitely returning and telling everyone I know about this lovely place.
Lovely quaint surroundings. Staff are helpful and friendly. The afternoon tea is amazing, such a pity I couldn't manage it all. But they are prepared for this and will box up leftover cake to take home.
Lovely vintage cafe. Friendly staff, delicious cakes, small but doesn't feel cramped. Very busy so maybe worth booking? Really great creative vibe.

What a little gem 😊 The menu caters for all and is more comprehensive than you would expect from a wee tea shop. The service was top hole too - efficient without being 'in your face'. Lovely find 😉
