Star City has lots of restaurants, but this is one of the best you'll find. I love curries and other Indian food. Been going to Shere Khan for couple years. Whenever I go Star City for bowling, laser quest or mini golf, mostly end up in this restaurant
Located ground level in Star City, they have a lovely waiting area and staff always have smile on them. As you walk in you can smell the spices, which gets you more hungry. Simple Interior, mainly black. Not too much designs and unnecessary decoration.
Menu layout is simple to read and find what's in kitchen. I love their chicken tikka biryani, comes with some yoghurt sauce. I also tried butter chicken which is my favourite. Cheese naan with butter chicken its beautiful.
My friend got me to try Mango Lassi and I'm a fan. It's a smoothie made from mango pulp and milk (I think) Goes well with the meal, cools down your mouth from the spices if you go for hot option.
They also have range of deserts, any place that do chocolate fudge cake with ice cream (my kryptonite) gets a thumbs up.
Prices are on par with other indian restaurants. Food tastes amazing and it's one of the best indian places. I haven't tried everything on menu, could be terrible. But from what I had, I cleaned the plate on main and desert. Highly recommend this place if you happen to be in Star City.
This is one of my favourite restaurant. The food is superb and reasonable priced. I go this restaurant every two weeks.
A great restaurant that couldn't possibly be any better.
The prices are as lovely as the food here. Never have I seen a restaurant where all the staff are 100% commited to their jobs and always offer service with a smile.
The menu is varied and the spice range of the food is made to order, so no need to worry about burning your tongues! There are a great range of both meat and vegetarian dishes on offer and all at great prices, with main courses starting from just a fiver. Plus they have a fresh juice and smoothie bar which provides customers with delicious fresh fruity beverages. Movenpick ice cream is also on the menu at very reasonable prices considering a small tub of this sells in supermarkets for no less than 4 pound.
All in all, this is the best restaurant in Star City and one of the best in Birmingham, this is more than worth a visit.
Great food besides the chewy lamb chops all the curry and stuff was great. The waiters there are so polite and they work HARD. It's not easy for those guys so if you get one that gets you your food early and is polite. *Tip them well!*

Probably the simplest and easiest to understand menu I've ever seen in an Indian restaurant. Stylish surroundings, good service, impressive choice of non-alcoholic beverages (freshly made smoothies and juices etc) I do not believe they are licensed/serve alcohol but the choice of non-alcoholic beverages is so tempting, I'm sure you wont even miss it! (all drinks come in single or pitcher portions - ideal for families!) The food is of good quality and quite tasty. The portions seem to be on the small side, but I always feel stuffed by the end! The best thing of all is the price.very reasonable and excellent value for money. Recommended!
23.04.09 The last time I went here was at Christmas time. The menu has now been expanded and is now more reminicent of other indian restaurants.too much choice! lol. The menus were also very tatty (held together with cellotape!) - Sort it out, Shere Khan!
Saying that, the food was still excellent and the place was very busy, despite it being a weeknight so they must be doing something right!
One of literally THOUSANDS of halal restaurants in Birmingham and several within the Star City complex, the Shere Khan management have their work cut out for them. Despite the competition, this place manages to hold its own against neighbouring establishments with a classy, if slightly noisy dining setting and delicious food to match. The prices are quite reasonable for a restaurant of this standard and the menu has quite a few dishes to choose from. You can't go wrong by choosing a platter of tandoori chicken, seekh kabobs, and karahi gosht. Overall, a very good dining experience!
This place is great. The food is definetly value for money, although it can be a little on the spicy side at times. The staff are always friendly and helpful, though at times it is hard to get their attention when it gets busy. They have a great lunch menu offer costing around only £6. The deserts are great to refresh your palate after!
Good food, nice atmosphere. I have been here many times and enjoyed it every time. It loses 1 star because they used to have a kids play area which they got rid off!
The food is brilliant!! very good customer service in a very Clean restaurant, for once in a fast food restaurant the staff actually care about the customers! Highly recommend this to all, they do southern fried chicken, peri peri chicken, burgers, panni's, wraps, salads, jackets, and also breakfast which I haven't tried Yet. also they have FREE WI FI instore.
Amazing food. Like literally. I am not a Pakistani myself and it was a great experience to try butter chicken one. For me it was a bit spicy but it’s alright. I also had passion fruit juice. Mmmmmmm looooove it. The prices were also okay.
Very bright and colourful decor, super attentive and welcoming staff, authentic North Indian dishes, fast service and a number of options to choose from in starters, mains, desserts and also from kids menu. All in all a good experience specially for Feltham where there is no authentic Indian restaurant nearby (bowling, cinema, arcade games and pub nearby)
Cons: No alcohol served, Can get very busy and service can be slow or delayed, limited menu to choose from and dishes are traditional recipes not not modern adaptations.
Pros: free car parking, fast and cheerful staff, clean and hygienic, party halls available.
Haven't been to this place in years but we weren't disappointed during our visit. The food was great and staff were attentive. The food was served relatively quickly despite it being a very busy night.
The lamb chop starters... if you know, you know. The mains were well spiced and the flavours balanced.
The only negatives: the decor seemed somewhat dated/tired and the restrooms seemed as if they weren't being kept clean during service.
We ordered samosa chat, peri peri chicken, roti, and butter chicken curry. The food and portions were good. The curries were a bit expensive and on the small side. The service was quick and courteous.
Went out 4 lunch with sister today..food was served fresh..taste and quality of food was on point..definitely will be visiting again.staff was well mannered too..
Always a safe choice of dining out for a curry. Not many cuisine left in star city ,so if you fancy an Indian if your in the vicinity then you can't go wrong . Foods always tasty with quick service. Waiting times vary for a table but it's worth it.

Amazing service. Great food. Authentic and not watered down. Excellent customer service with chef recommending us dishes and also offering to spice it up a bit accordingly. Starters and mains was amazing. Would deffo go again when back in the area. Do not MISS!
One of the few Pakistani restaurants that open for Lunch.
Starters, main and drinks were really fresh and tasty.
Waiting staff was courteous and helpful.
Only slightly drawback was worn out furniture and a bit old decor.
Good customer service, clean and is maintaining the social distance, hand sanitation provided as soon as you arrive and exit the restaurant. I love spicy food and yesterday when I did order my starters it was spicer than usual without specifying to the waiter but I'm not complaining as I love spicy food (but others may not prefer it so when you do order be specific on your spice level). Overall we really enjoyed out meal!!
On route to Old Trafford we took a quick detour to Shere Khan’s Star City on 20/10/21.
Amazing service!!! Great food, authentic and not watered down.
