Rico Libre - Birmingham - Photo album

My Husband and I dined at Rico Libre for the first time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We ordered the 3-4 recommended portions but it was abit too much as for a tapas plate size, they were a bit larger than we were expecting. The food was enjoyable and standard tapas menu with a limited cho
Although a bit difficult to find, the Uber didn’t know where it was but it's not far from the Bullring and within walking distance. Food and service excellent, and all staff smart and professional; the female staff were dressed in their cultural dress and looked m just right for the restaurant. Whi
They have a fantastic outdoor seating area where the old pond used to be. It was gorgeous sitting in the sun and eating. Great range of Tapas, sangria is well recommended. You can also bring your own but they do have a corkage fee of £2.50. Everyone was able to eat something, what ever their dietary
Booked in last minute on a Saturday with no problems. The food was perfect. Portion size excellent and each dish tasty. Staff very friendly and welcoming, esp as we were last minute. If you’re looking for excellent authentic Spanish tapas, this is it!
Fantastic food. The vegetarian options were all really delicious, the crispy aubergines being the absolute highlight. The kitchen staff really excelled. All the front of house staff were friendly and engaging and the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely recommended.
So impressed with this place! The food was absolutely stunning , I wish I could’ve tried everything!! Highly recommend the meatballs. Staff were brilliant to and made a real effort for my friend’s birthday👍
Incredible tapas place, you really cannot go wrong going for a meal here. There are plenty of dishes to choose from. They have an extensive menu to choose plus at least 8 more dishes on their specials board that you should definitely try! Prices are good for the food you get and it's bring your own
We had so much fun at Rico Libre celebrating our friend before her wedding! Michael and the team were incredible - attentive, fun, and so helpful with our menu options. All of the food was so delicious, with some traditional style tapas and some modern twists too. In fact, we had such a great time t
This would get 6 stars if possible... The chefs here really know what they're doing - the quality was amazing and the portions were very generous. Definitely come back again. Great atmosphere, laid back and with attentive staff.. awesome ..!
Don’t judge a Birmingham establishment by its humble cover. Rico Libre is a concept restaurant that works. It is easy to see that it was set up with the “try this out and see how it goes” mindset. Scour it’s green exterior, you won’t see any flashing lights of a sign to indicate it is a Restaurant.
Had the most incredible Tapas at Rico Libre last night. Between three of us we ordered about 11 dishes I think and each of them were absolutely incredible. Even the ones you wouldn't expect to be incredible like the Spanish Omelette or patatas were delicious. The calamari and the aubergine were a st
Was staying in Birmingham for the weekend and read good reviews about this place and an added bonus is that it is BYOB! The excellent reviews I read were spot on, we enjoyed a range of tapas dishes from patatas bravas to the pork belly as well as some from the specials, the chimichurri beef was my f
Came with my partner for a Thursday evening treat. Booking was easy and quick, via the online platform. Greeting was excellent from the host (who I believe was also the manager - the guy with hair tied up in a bun). He gave us a full run through of how to order as well as seperate menus we could or

Great food, great service take your own wine. All the dishes were really tasty and of fair portion size. Would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely night out with friends 😎😎
Had an 18:00 booking on Friday evening. Straight away got met by a friendly and lovely staff member, took the seats and got introduced to specials. Food arrived quickly, and it was absolutely fantastic. I always rate the Spanish restaurant by its staples, such as croquettes and patatas bravas. Rico
Tantalising mouth watering tapas restaurant in an unusual part of the city close to the arts quarter and the Custard Factory. The portions although quite small (tapas!) were very much full of flavour and I can definitely recommend the Haloomi and Patatas Ailoili and Tempura Prawns. Cosy restaurant
Absolutely loved it!! Great portion size, food was super tasty good value for money. 100% going back!
First time visit. Some of the BEST food I have ever tasted. Pure quality and incredible service!
