What a little gem of a find. Lovely little tea room serving yummy food at low prices. Definitely worth a visit. We shall be returning that's for sure. X
Just had a lovely afternoon tea x plenty of different sandwiches, scone and jam and different cakes x could take home what we didnt eat x well worth it x extra drinks were offered and staff lovely and pleasant as always x thank you
This is the best cafe in Yorkshire, the staff are friendly and helpful. The cakes are divine! When planning a cycle ride in the area it always includes a stop at the Birkin Fisheries tea room
Fab tea room food delicious tasty and very fresh. Staff lovely would def recommend
Called in this morning. 2 coffees and a bacon sandwich. Excellent service and lovely food yet again. We will be calling again xx
Fantastic location fantastic food fantastic staff..... this place is a little gem and a cyclist hot spot
Probably one of our favourite 'go to' places. My daughter has been coming since she was about 1 (she's now 4) and loves it. Food is always good and plentiful (no measly portions). Especially like what they've done to extend the place. Never had a cake there so can't comment on the quality of those but the full cooked breakfast and sandwich offerings are always good with decent quality ingredients and my daughter especially loves the white chocolate star she gets when we pay the bill!
Visited this morning hoping for Afternoon Tea, not realising we had to book this prior to visiting. It was quite busy but the staff were very accommodating and served us 3 afternoon teas. It really was stunning and very good quality food. Most definitely will be recommending and returning! X
A real nice environment with pleasant staff the food is good and very cheap where else can you get a breakfast with tea/coffee for a fiver on a lovely day it's great to stop as many as cyclist will confirm A must visit anytime but especially when the Sun shines
Just had the most beautiful scone and a cuppa sat outside in the sunshine with my friend and our dogs. The service as always is so quick even though they were busy and the setting is just amazing. I absolutely love this place ~ so lucky it’s just on my doorstep
I've been coming here every week for 18 months. I've never found anywhere half so good for tastiness of the food, quickness of service, and value for money.
Cracking little place. Lovely food, great views and atmosphere. Loved the cute little bathroom in the shed outside. Can't wait to come back for afternoon tea this time.
Lovely few hours spent with the family in the pumpkin patch and witches trail. Good picturesque location with two lakes for fishing. Lovely easy walk around the larger lake (witches trail) perfect for younger legs. Couldn't get into the tea rooms unfortunately as they were very busy, but they looked nice with a good selection of cakes/drinks/snacks
A beautiful and unexpected stop. This place is such a pretty setting. I delivered a Princess cake to a birthday party. The small space outside had been decorated in the theme of the party and it was gorgeous.
We had a quick drink before setting back off the staff were nice and friendly.
I visit regularly as it offers fishing for my Son, as well as being a fab cafe and quiet beauty spot. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. It's definitely a wonderful hidden gem in the stunning Yorkshire countryside.
Came here for the 1st time today.
Was a sweet place. Pretty cups /sauces/plates. We had breakfast. Bacon and a sausage sandwich. Was nice but could have had more than two rashers of bacon on the sandwich.
We took our dog for a walk around the pond.
It does get busy especially with cyclists who are passing by.
Hoping to call again on a sunnier day to try out the ice creams 🙂
Idyllic location. Food was nice and there are restrooms available. I would recommend this place to anyone lunching or brunching or just after a peaceful sit with a tasty snack. Lovely little hidden treasure.
Fab food great value and service. Pretty location too.terrific Halloween event on for kids on at moment
Gorgeous little Cafe, the inside looks almost straight out of a Cath Kidston Catalogue. We had afternoon tea and it was lovely. The women who worked there were very attentive and friendly, kept offering us refills on our drinks and when it came to paying I was very pleasantly surprised at the price.
Lovely place to fish and have a bite to eat. The only downside is that they do not take card payments, so remember to take cash if you decide to visit!!
First visit here with a very good friend for lunch. We both very much enjoyed the Ham & Mushroom individual quiche, potato salad, green salad, coleslaw, tomatoes & cucumber.
It was delicious. We then had a Cappuccino and a flat white and on a glorious sunny day sat outside with our coffee in the shade. Great view too.☺ We would definitely recommend this place.
Lovely food, lovely place. Stopped off mid bike ride for cheese on toast, scone with jam and cream and pot of tea. Wonderful!
