I'm a member of the crochet group, so I spend most Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons at the centre. The staff are all lovely, always ready to help if you have any questions, the centre is always clean and welcoming, even when there are hordes of little ones engaged in activities throughout the school holidays, and Leah makes the best roast dinners each Friday (and her gluten and dairy free fruit crumble is to die for!). If you haven't joined one of the many groups held at the centre every day, you're missing out, not only on whatever skill or hobby takes your fancy, but you're missing out on meeting new friends who share your interests. Oh, and the regular day trips are lovely. Please, come to the St. James' Centre and change your life for the better.

Visited here with granddaughter and great grandchild, as he was just starting the nursery. Very good staff and good cafe. Great community centre for local people. Just please leave the teabag in a bit longer, some people like strong tea. Cheers Bob. 😊👍

👩👵Friendly & helpful👥people👧. A great asset to have for the local community; St James Centre is based where the old police station👮was on Lurd Street.
