Great place friendly staff had a great night there
Under new management and Burts Bingo is Back
After our afternoon walk we stopped for a liquid refreshment. Lovely Sunday afternoon vibe. Quiet, warm and some families ( small ) having a chilled he or two. I must add nobody on there phones....... Well maybe checking them but visually saw people talking to each other.
Really friendly local boozer. Staff and regulars made us very welcome, thanks👍
In the current situation of social distancing, masks etc the bar man was a complete breath of fresh air. Very friendly, chatty and just genuinely felt he appreciated our custom.

Has a really intimate party for 90 year old Head of Year Teacher. T'was really lovley and well supported. The Wirral Hundred handed their pub over and let everyone be relaxed and nicely spread out. Lovley afternoon. Lots of ex-pupils attended.
Lovely friendly pub not that busy in the afternoon , but dogs allowed , lovely Sunday lunches, staff are brilliant .bingo on Mondays good fun !
