Service was excellent, even though the staff were spoken to so rudely by some customers. They kept smiles on their faces and were still really pleasant with everyone. Very professional.
The girls weren’t having the best day today due to technological issues. But for me, as a customer it’s not about that, as that’s completely out of their control. As long as the customer service is good (which it was) very good in fact, that’s all that matters. I thought the manager handled the situation well- leaving two customers satisfied who might’ve left feeling otherwise had she not jumped into action. Giving one customer a free beverage and tea cake as a goodwill gesture, while allowing me two small beverages in place of one medium. Overall fantastic service despite things not going swimmingly for the staff.

The staff are excellent. But having two on instead of 3 leads to long queues and people leave rather than waiting. The food is too expensive. People buy food from competitors.

Shop very cold due to air-conditioning. Busy staff and not very helpful. Disappointed.
Todays visit to Birkenhead Costa,the staff are so helpful , although it's a little quiet,the coffee was perfect, the new decor has made a big difference
It's a great little coffee shop that you can eat in, take out, or eat outside. They've a fairly decent selection, with some vegetarian/vegan & gluten free options. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the entrance is awkward to get in for people with mobility issues or for wheelchair users as the door is very heavy & the lip in the doorway is difficult to get over with wheelchairs. An accessible toilet is also available.
