Came in, feeling in a bit of a daze and unsure of myself. Completely welcomed in by the guys in the kitchen and out front. Felt totally welcome and at ease. Had a little bite which tasted great, a few coffees and some good chats with other customers. Came out feeling positive and looked after. Thank

I was killing time waiting for the ferry last night and happened upon this place. I had a gorgeous cup of tea and some biscuits from the place and was treated brilliantly by everyone at the hatch. Great place. Great food at by far the most reasonable prices you will find in Birkenhead - all home-cooked. Warm and friendly ambience. All for a worthwhile cause and helping not only the local community but the peninsula and Liverpool too

A good place for people needing support in order to recovery from any kind of addictive behaviours. This includes SMART recovery classes people can attend to acquire some strategies and coping mechanisms. Offer some unwanted food and prices in café are reasonable.
