This Toby seems a bit better than others over in Liverpool I've been to. Still tight with meat portions and price seems to go up all the time but a perfectly passable roast when you can't be bothered to cook mid week. Service is what it is. Poor waiting on staff run ragged trying their best so don't expect to be tended to like you would in a normal restaurant. If you want a roast and lots of it Toby is there for you. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

Nice food, good service. First time we went, there was plenty of meat left and the food was piping hot. The second time we went, no beef left and the food was only warm. Then we saw all the food restocked after we'd already sat down. I suppose it's a bit down to luck at what time you arrive. Some of the seating areas are a lot better than others. I would say overall that we enjoyed it, it could just do with a good spruce up.

Had the carvery here and to be fair it was very good. The staff were very friendly and were there to help. The meat on the carvery was cooked to perfection as the roast beef simply melted in the mouth. The cost was very reasonable too.

I enjoyed the whole thing so much. Our server looked after us so well. From the minute we got to the wait to be seated stand, he did so much. He got our drinks, helped me order our pigs 'n' blankets and he even got me a bag to put my left over in it for my dog. His name was Chris and he was fantastic and so attentive. I use a wheelchair and he was so thoughtful and considerate and offered to open up the queue line so I could go to the food counter myself, but I was with my husband and he got mine for me. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it was a great night for us both. The only thing that lets it down is the car park outside. There aren't spaces properly marked out, and I have looked everywhere for disabled spaces. The lights don't light the car park properly and neither are the pathways. I'd hate to be walking out of the pub on my own in the night to the car because I wouldn't see if there was anyone there. When possible, it would be good if the company could sort out the car park. I'll be definitely here again in the future. Toby Carvery is best for me because I have found lately, that pubs all seem to offer the same thing all of the time and you get fed up with it, or go off it or the atmosphere isn't right. You could say I eat the same thing when I come here, but the thing is, I won't, because there is always something different and I don't eat many roast dinners. Thank you to Chris and all the staff at Arrowe Park who are all absolutely brilliant, attentive, courteous and kind.

My boyfriend had fainted after falling unwell, the staff couldn’t have handled it better. They provided him with water and the chef sat with him for a good while to make sure he was okay. They also brought us our food from the carvery to our table so that he didn’t have to get up and get it himself. After the meal was finished they had given it to us without having to pay as a kind gesture and wanted to make sure he was okay. Couldn’t have had better service really grateful for the staff! Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous comfortable place. Food, Service, and staff are great. Good range of drinks and food. Cheap prices too!!! What more could you ask? They even do 'Too Good To Go' as well! We ealked in and had 4 x Carvery! They were catering for a large funeral party too and we didn't wait too long for drinks or food! Really nice place!!! Recommended!!!!

Food was lovely and team were great. The place needs a face-lift so looking forward to coming back around refurbishment.
