First time we went, there was plenty of meat left and the food was piping hot.
The second time we went, no beef left and the food was only warm.
Then we saw all the food restocked after we'd already sat down.
I suppose it's a bit down to luck at what time you arrive.

The food was delicious and hot. The gravy was hot and complimented the turkey and beef I had perfectly. As always the staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that we were satisfied with our food and service by checking in with us.
Had the carvery here and to be fair it was very good. The staff were very friendly and were there to help. The meat on the carvery was cooked to perfection as the roast beef simply melted in the mouth. The cost was very reasonable too.
Proper good portion of meat and they offered an extra roast potato at no extra charge because they were a little bit small. All the food was fresh 👍👍👍 and I used a £10 off when you spend £25 voucher🌞 the beer garden is huge and has lots of space in the Sun or under an umbrella.
I enjoyed the whole thing so much. Our server looked after us so well. From the minute we got to the wait to be seated stand, he did so much. He got our drinks, helped me order our pigs 'n' blankets and he even got me a bag to put my left over in it for my dog. His name was Chris and he was fant

My boyfriend had fainted after falling unwell, the staff couldn’t have handled it better. They provided him with water and the chef sat with him for a good while to make sure he was okay. They also brought us our food from the carvery to our table so that he didn’t have to get up and get it himself.
Food was lovely and staff were too. Would recommend for families looking for a nice dinner. Could do with a refurbishment as it has seen better days.

Very enjoyable roast, seated quickly, our server Ewen was very friendly , politely mannered, made sure we had everything that we needed. Will come again..
