Popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for bingo! Jo is an amazing landlady and I had an absolute ball! Free buffet, bingo fun and cheap drinks.... Can't wait to go back! Thank you for cheering me up
Listed grand ll. Circular bar. Leaded glass.floor and wall tiles. Good old fashioned corner pub. Very helpful landlady. Will go back.

Great evening celebrating Mark Kelly and Adam's engagement. Great bunch of people. Fab atmosphere
Unfortunately there were no real ales on, but the Guinness was good. A real gem of a place with mosaic flooring and etched windows. A listed pub full of Victorian charm. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We had to drop some one off at the ferry and on our way back we stopped at this pub for a quick toilet break every one was very friendly and welcoming seems that we not from the area would defo be going back there again if I'm in Birkenhead

Cheapest place on wirral for a home made Sunday Roast dinner, has plenty of activity happening to keep you entertained, safe haven and also amazing atmosphere with friendly people, also offers a place for functions

Had a lovely sunday roast dinner, choice of 3 meats which where beef, chicken or gammon. We had beef & chicken, roasties, mash, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot & swede, sprouts, Yorkshire pud & stuffing large portion too with a pot of gravy and we had apple pie & custard and cheesecake & cream. deli
Perhaps one of the oldest pubs in the town as it was built in 1918. The fixtures & fittings are in keeping with the period so its a pleasant drinking environment & the staff are friendly. One of my favourite pubs in birkenhead,havnt visited for a couple of years,we came Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves,hot roasties and pork pies and sausages rolls where laid out on the bar for everyone to get stuck into was a nice surprise,definitely my go to pub when I'm over in birke
Fantastic. Tiled on the outside, mosaic floor and mahogany and cut glass interior. A very local and friendly bar over 25s. Always 4 real ales to choose from, basic menu from 12 to 2 to catch people working around Hamilton Square.
