Went this afternoon for lunch with a friend. It was really busy when we arrived, so we sat in the outdoor terrace area.
Our food arrived in no time at all, it was well presented and the portions sizes generous.
When I couldn't decide what cake to go for, a member of staff kindly suggested the Oran

Traditional cafes are few and far between nowadays. Benricks is everything a cafe should be. Delicious food and cakes made on the premises, reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive staff, drinks and food was all prompt and hot. Fantastic little spot for coffee and a bite for breakfast.
Sausage, chips n beans...hardly cordon bleu and Benricks couldnt manage that. Maybe it was too basic for coffee shop on the Woody Rd 🤔 I gave my anaemic sausages back to get a suntan. Honestly, quite pathetic and hardly worth the cost ðŸ˜
In my view, this has to be among the best cafes around. The food and service are excellent, and the cafe itself has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
