Visited on Saturday 30th June. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. Particular mentions for Tom and Amelia for the way they dealt with an angry and rude customer. His behaviour was appalling and yet they both remained calm and controlled and defused the situation excellently. They were both professional and treated him with respect (which he absolutely didn’t deserve) and kept the rest of the patrons calm. Outstanding customer service and both deserve a medal.
Brilliant to have our local pub back to an Ember. Fabulous friendly service from staff old and new. Great food and great to hear we can bring the dog. Good luck to you all �

After a full refurb and a change in management, this place has a great atmosphere and feel to it.
Decor is beautiful, staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Food was amazing - from calamari, cheddar mushrooms, steak, burgers everything was perfectly cooked and well presented.
A huge well done to the new team - we will definitely be back soon!
Had a very enjoyable night in the Crown. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, the decor is very homely and cosy and the atmosphere was great.

The Crown is great! Food is always served hot and they always cater for my requirements. Couldn’t ask for much more to be fair. The staff in there are great and always at hand. Highly recommended!! Every visit is well worth it.

I've eaten here twice now each time enjoying everything, food cooked perfect plenty of colour left in the veg and it's hot. cooked perfect. Meat done as I asked and staff pleasant . Was a very good price £14 each for a starter main course and desert with a drink of tea . We stopped and had a few more drinks all at reasonable prices. Will beaming this regular place to eat. 9 out of 10 good food and great prices could have fed all 3 of us on £17 for a large meal each or under £45 for a 3 course meal each. All nice food i will be here again in the near future
I went with a couple of friends for a lovely lunch, first off the staff are all very friendly and the place was really clean. The food came out hot and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place. Either with your friends or a nice family meal
We've never been before but the kids were hungry on the way home so we stopped off by chance, we'll definitely be returning as we live close. Wish I knew about his place earlier, it felt welcoming and the food was much better than other chain pubs we been in. We had 2 children under 5yrs old who are picky but ate everything. Decent prices and the staff were so pleasant too.
Stopped off here as a family passing through at lunchtime. 1,2 or 3 course lunch menu starts at £6.49 to £11.49. We had 2 courses, best mac & cheese I've had in a long time. Full of flavour and really good texture to it, not runny like I have in pass. And the Belgium waffles are out of this world 😍

This gem of a place was great to eat in. The midweek deal was quite cheap, but small potions, which to be fair were OK for price. I'm defo going again because it tasted great, and it was clean, and the fire was cosy to sit by, if you're lucky enough to get to sit next to it of course. Well worth a visit.
Stop here for a meal after work. Food was excellent, the staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome and the service was exceptional. Will definitely be back again soon

Called in here at 5pm Saturday. It was quite buzy. The lady on the front bar was working like a trojan on her own. Three more staff appeared out of the back and had to be asked to help her. One did while the other two wandered round pretending to be buzy.
The lady on her own was an elderly lady but don't know her name but she deserves praise. I did go and tell her how impressed I was with her.

The ease of ordering using the app and pay for the order at the table was very good. Wasn't rushed and had great service by the team that looked after us. The quality of the food was fantastic. Great value for money and even though busy, the atmosphere was really good and relaxed.

Once again, we are really, really happy we chose the Crown Ember Inn to celebrate a friends birthday.
For the vegetarian, the sweet chilli noodles were very tasty and plentiful. The sea bass with potatoes and asparagus were cooked to perfection and the very filling camembert burger with chips went down a treat. A massive 3 thumbs up from us! The chef did a fantastic job!!!
Antonia, the new server was a delight to know, as were Ben and Jake at the bar. Very friendly staff all round.
Must thank the manager too....for getting the pub up and running in such an efficient way. Great job!!
Quite a good ember inns pub very eerily quiet on my visit...my ember inns app still would not open up so could not take advantage of any offers they might have had on that Monday ..3 days it's been offline...food wax hot and tasty ...ordered via the table QR CODE..that was WORKING okay ...did all my ordering via that...nice server looked after me...very pleasant in all
Food was delicious, staff fantastic.

We enjoyed 2 courses from the very reasonably priced set choice menu: 2 prawn cocktail starters and a roast dinner each. The food was served by a pleasant waitress, it was well presented and tasty. The only issues were that there was quite a long wait between courses (understandable as it was pretty busy, but a couple more waiters/waitresses would not have gone amiss and would have relieved the pressure on the busy staff), and the kitchen ran out of roast beef. I was lucky to get the last portion and my husband had to opt for turkey rather than the 2 meat 'larger appetite' option on the menu. Have you considered taking food orders from the tables? We were approached several times to see if we would like more drinks, so I doubt it would involve much more effort to initially take food orders too - it could increase sales and would definitely add to customer satisfaction with the service?
