We came for football and had a perfect view of the tv, there are plenty if that is your thing plus a huge projector style screen too so it's a great space for watching any sport really, which we did. They also had a Halloween speed quiz event on the night we were there which was a good laugh. They appear to have a new food menu which we tried. It really was lovely food and perfect for that type of venue as you can eat sat at the bar with plenty of space or at one of their tables also. We ordered the chicken pizza and nacho loaded fries. The pizza in particular was really good, the base was cooked to perfection and the toppings were plentiful without overloading the pizza. I'd order again and maybe try some of the chicken wings too next time. Thanks for a nice night, top service by Collette and skel, thanks guys.
Best place in birkdale village. Staff are great and friendly, always good for all sports events and some awesome live djs and bands at weekends. Have eaten at birkers many times and food is always of a high standard and suitable for all. We'll done guys

One of the strangest bars I've ever been to. The majority of the clientele are in their sixties, but it looks more like a younger person's place. I went to ser a Kiss tribute band there, which was really good. All in all a strange but enjoyable evening.
Great pizzas and good value, always got some offers on.
Visited first time Saturday lunchtime. Received warm welcome from staff and other guests. We were a party of 6 and decided to eat there as the prices were very reasonable. TBH I wasn’t expecting much. Totally wrong! The food was fabulous and well presented. Far better than other ‘pub grub’ venues. We ended up staying all afternoon.

Good food company good and good value for money. Plus the owners always make you welcome. Plus they always try to accommodate everybody whilst the virus is still with us. Recommended to book a table if football is on.

Lovely little place we went into no4 in the afternoon had a lovely pizza and chips, big portions and very reasonable prices and ended up taking half pizza home i had the peking duck pizza with salt and pepper chips husband had barbacue chicken pizza,, staff lovely and friendly would definately go again.
2 steaks (what cut is your choice) and a bottle of Rose for £20. Amazing value and fantastically tasty food. Steaks cooked how we individually asked for perfectly. Friendly staff too.
Loved the music and atmosphere, most people are really nice here, being a wheelchair user it can be awkward finding somewhere I'm 'out of the way' but also included. Great bunch in tonight for boneshaker gig
