Great selection of beers and a nice welcome. Nice sitting area in front with 2 tables near the entrance and 4 tables in the sun. A pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Nice micro pub, perhaps a bit pricey. I'd also prefer if they didn't allow dogs as it's only a small place and if you get 2 or 3 dog in there it can be absolute mayhem

Friendly folk and excellent on tap beers. Would have eaten there too if there had been any left. It was Friday night however so not surprising in a good bar.
A lovely warm welcome, good choice of coffee served to the table with a smile, dog biscuits offered to our little dog, what a nice relaxing place to come , nice fresh toasted teacake ,looks like it's going to be a favourite place to visit 👍x

This is a beautiful little pub stocked with a wonderful selection of belgian beers, with excellent outdoor seating area on a sunny day. A cosy space indoors so during the busiest periods be prepared to wait for a space, although not usually a problem due to the pleasant, friendly and inviting staff
Love this place, loads of choice including a huge range of Belgian beers, cool venue and staff make you feel like a best mate. Oh, and they are super dog friendly

The Barrel House in Birkdale has a wonderful selection of Belgian beers! They have plenty in the fridges to drink in and plenty for take away and they even had one on tap when we went in. The bar is dog friendly and is s bit tight but it's a cosy place to settle in for a few beers.
