Had my little lads birthday meal yesterday for a table of 10, food was cooked to perfection, portions sizes were humongous too! Great value for money! Waitresses were unbelievably welcoming and engaged with everyone. 10/10 would recommend this place to absolutely anyone.
Lovely pub our meal was 1st class the staff are all very polite and very attentive we were sat near the bar area would have preferred the small snug area where we have sat before becauae there was a large party next to us and they were extremely loud even the waitress kept apologising but enjoying themselves and so did we had a very good night.

I have ate food here once before and enjoyed it. I loved the atmosphere and decor so booked my sister's baby shower there. All the staff were more than helpful and we enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.
I have to say, this place was a great find, on our travels from York to Nottingham, and back via Barnsley.
I had a Roast Pork lunch. I thought it was great value. The food was excellent, with lots of choice and very generous portions, cooked to perfection.
Even though I was full, I also had a cheesecake dessert, that was also spot on.
Very good service throughout.

Had a lovely lunch today at the Travellers today. The food was delicious, freshly made and great portions too. Wonderful service, the staff were very attentive. They clearly enjoy working together as they were all genuinely smiling and happy to help where they could. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be coming again.
A very pleasant luch. Treat for mom for her birthday. Food was excellent. My only criticism would be portion size. Overly generous. Mom had the hake and prawn salad. All I can say is wow. It was huge.
Just had lunch at the Travellers with a bunch of friends. The food was gorgeous. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great... both staff and customers smiling and happy and loving life.
Visited here Saturday evening. We pre booked as we were going to a music venue up the road. It was wonderful the staff very polite, we were seated quickly & drinks order taken & arrived quickly. We ordered & food came out prompt. The presentation was lovely, fresh & very tasty. There was so much we couldnt eat it all. I had the fettuccine with chicken & choritzo & my friend had goats cheese & blueberry rissotto both served with garlic ciabatta bread. 10/10 will definately be back & they serve Madri always a plus for us lol xx

Did bottomless brunch last weekend and couldn’t knock anything which is rare with a bottomless brunch we had another drink pretty much straight after we’d drank the one we had wasn’t waiting long ever which is usually the main concern. Only had a salad but that was lovely and the girl who was serving us was absolutely lovely. Really polite and smiley. Definitely will be back.
Me and my partner and our 2 young children had a fantastic experience today from the moment we stepped in the front door the service was 5* friendly welcoming staff made us all feel welcome they went above and beyond to accommodate our kids even setting up a small table so they could draw.
Enough about service the part that everyone wants the food was amazing not your standard pub grub if your looking for some quality food and affordable drinks this is the place to try you will not be disappointed.

Delicious fresh food! Half of our party had the Sunday dinner which they enjoyed. I had the seafood risotto pictured below. It was absolutely amazing! Hats off to the chef and the staff were very friendly! Will definitely be going again!
We were greeted with a friendly smile, and shown to our table. We ordered our drinks and also 2 steaks. The steaks were beautiful and not too long a wait. Will definitely be returning
