Had a smashing roast dinner today, no scrimping here, delicious, flavoursome, and great choice. Friendly attentive staff. We'll be back for another visit. Recommend cocktail slushy.
Had Sunday lunch on 26th March with my wife and two friends. Quality of the food was excellent and portions were unbelievably large. £83 for two courses for the four of us including three drinks was great value. Staffing levels were perfect and very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend
We all had a brilliant time on Saturday evening for the karaoke night. The staff were brilliant very friendly and welcoming and rearranged three tables so we could all be seated together. I don't know what they thought of our singing though lol. We are definitely going to the next karaoke night so C
Wine list amazing, came for Italian night cannot wait to book again. Super excited to try the new summer menu!
This was a super find. Unexpectedly popped in and enjoyed s glass of wine and shared a bowl loaded chips... absolutely delicious. The barmaid was very friendly, smiley face and a nice manner. I will be visiting again. Thank you
Great venue, great helpful cheerful staff & some great bands they get in too! P. S The roast is definitely worth trying on a Sunday, but best to book!!
We recently had a family meal at Christie's for my mum's 85th birthday. We pre- ordered food as there were 11 of us. The food was very good and the portions were enormous. Very reasonably priced. It would have been nice if management had come over to say hello as I had several emails exchanged
Friday nite often a decent band in with usually decent crowd. Saturday night's casino night was amazing. Roulette table black jack and a quick fire poker table, welcome drink and canapés all supplied well done you two and all the staff too.
Had a great time at karaoke night on Saturday, staff were welcoming and friendly
Had an amazing roast lunch today with family who were visiting. I am allergic to onions and the staff were so helpful in what I could eat. Their cauliflower cheese really is the best as an extra side . We are looking to going back soon. Thank you to all the staff.
We went along to see the live music which is a regular feature. Popular venue, well attended.
Christie's is a nice place to go . Comfortable and pleasant . However i think the reason that pub numbers are dwindling are more to do with the mood of the public having lost the ability of social niceties in modern times .
Had been told about Christie's but had not tried since moving to the area, well what a great place to dine ,we had the roast dinner with a starter and what a delight, the food was delicious and the staff very attentive, will most certainly go again.
A great place to visit for a drink and food looked good Very friendly. A very nice place to have a drink too while waiting for a train as station only two minutes away.
Absolutely the BEST ROAST EVER!!! Christie's is a fab, friendly venue with wonderful, attentive staff who simply can't do enough for you. Thank you all! Finlay, the Yorkie-poo adores it here too!
Had some delicious cocktails, served by a very charming young lady (I think her name was Bee?). All round great find, highly recommend
Very nice indeed. Surprising number of people in the pub considering we were there at the beginning of the week. Our sandwiches were excellent. A lot of forthcoming activities to be held on the premises makes it easy to see why this must be a very popular pub for locals and visitors alike.
Great little bar with friendly staff good atmosphere and entertainment. Good selection of drinks (lovely cold pint of strongbow)
Can be expensive, but it's a lovery atmosphere
