Had some beautiful coffee and cake (lemon, poppy seed and blueberry) outside today, perfect spot to cool off from a walk on a hot day. Menu looks lush, looking forward to coming back to sample your breakfast sometime! X

First time visiting today and we were greeted by 5* cakes and 5* customer service. Thanks to the lovely owners who even spoiled our puppy with bacon and biscuits, you’ve definitely won her over!

My husband and I came to the cafe for breakfast, along with our dog. The food was beautiful, the service faultless and the dog was well looked after! We will definitely be back with the children too.

A must to all on foot, on two wheels or in the saddle (car tourism is also catered for) if you are doing the Trans Pennine trail or Sett Valley Way I would strongly suggest you see this as a rest stop enroute. Excellent welcoming service, coffee, cake and quite possibly the finest sausage sandwich in the borough. The diminutive size of the building is home to some delicious food.

Visited for the first time today and absolutely loved it! Couldn’t have had a warmer, more friendly welcome and the food was fab too. Was so full I had to do take out for cake, the carrot cake was amazing. x

Stopped here on our bike ride today. Great little cafe just off the Sett Valley trail. It was busy with cyclists, runners and walkers but we were served pretty quickly and the food was great and portions generous. Very friendly staff. We'll be back pretty soon I reckon. Thank you.

This little cafe was the perfect spot to meet a friend, 57 minutes from each of us. The weather was horrific we each had an awful drive. But this place was just what we needed. The food was fantastic, tasty and good portion sizes.... everything I saw heading to other tables looked as food as my meal. Bought some cakes to take home from a good range available. Staff were really wonderful, helpful, friendly and organised. Would def recommend it and we'll definitely be back for a future get together.

Absolutely the best breakfast I've had out in a long time! The staff were tremendous and very friendly and accommodating. I chose the Amblers breakfast and my partner had Northern Quarter eggs. We were both very pleased with our choices and would recommend the cafe to anyone in the area or passing through. Considering the size of the place, it's amazing how much is on offer. The ingredients are local and fresh - always a bonus to support local business and community. The outdoor seating was great and the general atmosphere of the place was lovely. Top marks.👌

Only had time for a take away lemon sorbet cornet to resume my walk but, it was amazing. Staff very friendly. Lots of people. Cooked food and amazing cakes. Parking along roadway. Great little place where the paths cross a proper road. Recommended as a stop to refresh.

Off the beaten road we randomly came across this lovely place and what a delight it was! The food and service was great and the brownie I had has to be one of the best I’ve ever had!

Stunningly quaint little cafe at the crossing of some walkers/hikers pathways and a minor road leading from the village. Ordered a sausage on toast sandwich and a coffee. The food was delicious. As was the coffee. The service excellent. Very relaxing place.

Amazing little café we stumbled across walking the Sett Valley Trail. List of hot drinks as long as your arm with great coffee, and huge choice of cakes, breakfasts, and pasties. The pheasant sausage roll was stellar. Water and treats provided for dogs! 🐶
