We went for a meal on Valentine's night and the food was excellent, we've been several times over the last few years and never had a bad meal, the management seems to change from time to time, staff are attentive and willing to please.
We held our Year 6 Leavers Event here yesterday. What can I say but a huge thank you to Dimitri and his team for making our night so successful. Everyone had such an amazing night and the Hog Roast was top notch. What a way to end the kids primary school years at our local pub #makingmemories
Friendly atmosphere, good menu selection, well behaved dogs welcome. A good place to be for a drink and meal.
Warm welcome with open fire . Good food and great staff cosy lounge and well stocked bar , well worth a visit
Absolutely fantastic service today...it was totally rammed because of the snow, but the staff were fantastic...hats off to the chef who managed to get our food out, what a guy � a great afternoon �

havent been to this pub for almost 2 decades. I know it had been due to close but rescued and very glad it has. Its kept its atmosphere while being modern. Nice conservatory and plenty of green space for kids (and adults) to enjoy. I won't leave it so long next time to visit.
We went for food at The Glen, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We weren't able to bring their menu up and pay on our phones so they personal took our orders. Food was good, my son had a burger and chips and I had a hot beef sandwich 🥪 . We sat outside and they had heaters, which was great.
A range of Timothy Taylor's excellent beers. Meaty Burgers small wire baskets of chips home made coleslaw. A choice of pizzas some vegetarian. Plenty of parking. Can get busy. Loved this pub, try it. Newly re opened. New owners. Great.

Visited for a birthday party in August 21. Good location and good choice of beer on tap. The menu is limited and basic but the food served is very nice and fairly priced. A really good spot to sit out back in the beer garden on hot summer afternoons. The yard to the rear has a small park for smaller children which is a nice feature.
Lovely pub. Great for catch up with friends. Especially with the outdoor space for the kids. Shame no food on offer at the moment.
Despite not being 'regulars' we're always made to feel welcome and the atmosphere is comfortable. Pleasant staff and good food too. Great forthe kids ti play justhope they getthekifchenup and running. Defo think they should have every weekend organised with a pop up food event as will add to the atmosphere
Wanted somewhere with a nice beer garden. Wow it is massive and not in the side of a road like other pubs. A real sun trap and a small play area for children. Had some lunch and it was good. My daughter had fish and chips from the kids menu which came with a drink and ice cream for pudding. Her food looked lovely plenty big enough portion for a three year old. She couldn't eat all the fish. Would definitely recommend it. Oh and friendly service.
