We invited our friends to join us at the malt yesterday for the Sunday roast.
The atmosphere inside the pub was great, I had the beef Sunday roast and let me tell you it was amazing!!
My friends had the turkey roast and they said it was absolutely delicious.
Amazing selection of beers and a great menu for both adults and children.
The staff are second to none and will go above an beyond for you!

We had a lovely lunch at The Malt today. The food was very nice, but the star of the show was Alex, who was an absolute star. Helpful, friendly and attentive......a credit to the pub.

Called for a afternoon drink with our friends. We decided to stay and have a meal. I had the fish pie, it was so delicious, large pieces of salmon , prawns, haddock and fresh vegetables. My husband and our freind had the mixed grill which they said was so tasty. My freind had the steak pie it was lovely. No complaints. We will return to the Malt. Good choice of beers. Nice freindly bar staff. No complaints.
Absolutely brilliant. We had the special three course menu. Best salmon dish I've had anywhere. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.
Had a wonderful meal here with the family, the food and service was excellent Dan and Alex were lovely and made us feel so welcome, was the 1st time I'd been, and it certainly won't be the last, would highly recommend š
The food was delicious all freshly cooked and the service was very good ales and Dan did a fine job taking our food order and drinks very friendly and chatty

Finally a Sunday Roast in Yorkshire that is proper, the beef, turkey and all the trimmings was really tasty, well presented and great value. The staff were excellent and a lovely pub, defo be back often.
Been today and will definitely be going back.. the staff were lovely and friendly. The manger was very friendly and helpful.
The food was lovely I had a sandwich it was fresh and very filling. And the cheese cake for dessert was amazing. Definitely recommended.
Visited The Malt 3 times during a weeks holiday nearby. First class food and drink, staff are really helpful and friendly, welcomed us and our dog, even gave him treats !.The steak pie is fab, a proper hearty meal, but sandwiches are also great, if you just fancy a quick bite.
Really wonderful place for a drink in the sun in the beer garden. Great selection and friendly staff and a perfect spot to go before or after a walk to goit stock waterfall
