This is a little hidden gem. The food is superb (compliments to the chef) the staff are friendly and welcoming. On our second visit they were booked up but still accommodated us by letting us use one of the tables they had reserved. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.
The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. Service good. Menu excellent. Good value, well kept beer and excellent food with accommodating kitchen staff. (We tried to order food a few minutes after time and staff obliged) will definitely return.
The steak and ale pie was lovely. Really packed with big pieces of meat. We went early on a Monday evening and the service was great. The food was very hot and portion sizes big. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Will definitely go again
Fantastic meal once again, new menu, new taste but still the same exception food and atmosphere.
Love this place.. love the food and love the people that socialise here.. alway go out their way to make you feel welcome
We have been passed The Brown Cow several times and often said we must call in some time. So, as we have had family staying with us and deciding to go for a walk around St Ives we booked a table for when we finished our walk. We weren't disappointed. The staff are lovely and friendly without being pushy and the food was gorgeous. The whole atmosphere one the pub is one of warm friendly cosiness. We will definitely be back.
The Brown cow burger!!! The best thing I've EVER eaten! Will defo be returning again.
Enjoyed a fab meal, beautifully cooked and the staff were so accommodating. Thank you...
The customer service and friendliness of staff are first rate. 2 visits recently, and the pie is something else.... don't think I'll ever try anything else!
Lovely dog-friendly pub.
Friendly professional staff and amazing food.
Took our Aussie relatives for lunch. Great welcome, great food, great beer and great customer service. Have you made a lime, lemon and bitters yet?
Fantastic food, full range of Taylor's ales, all very nice indeed. Altogether a great pub!
Beautiful scenery with nicely priced drinks. I only had myself a coke but it was lovely weather to sit in their beer garden. Very relaxing and just spot on for what you want a quick drink to be and more. Could smell everything that was cooking which smelt gorgeous, even though I didn't have the food, I will try it next time.
We had just been on a walk with the Bingley Walkers group and we had passed the Brown Cow and saw it was really busy.
On completing the walk we decided to take a chance to see if we could get a table.
A very pleasant lady showed us to one of a few vacant tables and gave us the menus.
I had a hard decision, but opted for the fish pie, what a marvelous choice!
It was packed with fish and the most lovely sauce.
Hubby had the chicken and his was also delicious!
The girl behind the bar was unsure how to make an Aperol spritz, however with some help from a colleague, it was one of the best I have had.
The food here is lovely but it took a long time to come out.
Also had to ask for the bill and a card reader a couple of times but the waiters seemed to forget.
Fantastic Sunday lunch couldn’t fault it. Great service too would definitely recommend 😊
Very pleasant staff. Dog friendly. Food was very nice.
Steak pie was delicious. Also served, was a roast beef dinner & a Nut roast
Great pub and a fabulous renovated space. Great service and food will definitely visit again. Please use your local pubs they really need our support!
This is a lovely pub on the town outskirts, where me and my friend enjoyed ourselves after a walk! My lemonade with gin was refreshing and the interior is styled fantastically, especially the mock barrels, also our table was clean with comfortable seats.
Lovely setting, decent drink offerings, and good tasty food, including a gluten-free menu 👏. Only one guy working the front of house though, and he had many tables in both the bar and restaurant area's to serve food to, plus the actual bar to service. It was a Monday latr lunch, so maybe it was unusually busy (but plenty of guys workingbin the kitchen suggest maybe typically tlneeded). Overall, he was good, when got him. However, a bit of a wait each time to get attention, especially for extra bits whilst eating. Also, there was a slight annoyance of a dog in the managers/ owners area, which kept yapping (assume to be let down as it stopped when it was allowed, but then started up again when put back)!
I'd come back though if passing again, as overall good experience.
Really tasty food, fabulous service from the young team of staff.
Situated beside the river, particularly when sat in the rear beer garden, it’s pretty and peaceful.
Been on 3 occasions for lunch now and so far so good. Enjoyed the steak pie.
Dont let your standards slide or your prices rise.
Could do with dog free eating area. Not everyone likes dogs or wet dog smell. Just saying 🤔
It’s a nice gastropub in a great location. The service was good and the food was nice. The flat iron steak especially was delicious - tender, tasty and melted in the mouth. The steak and ale pie too was delicious.
Great food, did really well accommodating 14 people! All food arrived together! Lovely decor, nice beer garden / out door seating and friendly staff
Just an eclectic mix of delight. Do Timmy T's make a bad beer? No, they don't. Ecstatic.
Best food I've had dining out in a long time. Couldn't fault a thing, fabulous flavours and beautifully cooked food plus excellent beer to wash it down with.
Haven't been here since 2018. All places in Bingley today don't serve food for some reason and we went to Brown Cow. Almost 5 years after - this place is still amazing! Very tasty food, cozy , candles and fireplace makes it feel very nice. Also very food service and friendly staff! Bravo
Top quality home cooked food. Some of the best roast potatoes I’ve ever eaten 😋 and or course, many fantastic pint to be sampled with it being a Timothy Taylor’s pub 😃
