WELL I’m one happy gluten intolerant lady today! Supplying an incredible choice of normal and dietary requirement foods. Super polite, accommodating staff REALLY YUMMY food & coffee & a menu I can actually work my way through too! A gluten intolerance can be quite limiting sometimes but they have accommodated it so well I can choose most things off the normal menu and just ask for the gluten free version. Couldn’t pick a single fault with our first experience thepicturecafe! Super happy returning customers
We only moved to Notts in Sept last year from Hants and The Picture Cafe was our ‘go to’ whilst looking for a house to buy! Such a lovely place - lovely staff, great food and ideally situated in Bingham. Lovely and spacious too - a real gem!
Always lovely going into what is easily described as the best place to sit, natter and eat! Staff are welcoming as toast, ambience is delightful, funky yet homely....try their Glutenfree cakes! You’ll crave another slice...

Thank you to all the staff at the picture cafe especially Helen, Caitlin and Mark for making our 50th birthday celebrations so successful, great food and wonderful service.
A delightful venue with a great atmosphere. Friendly for children and adults alike with a delicious menu. I have tried their full english and their bacon and syrup pancakes both of which were amazing!
It wasn't on the menu but my son wanted a toasted tea cake and they were able to provide which was fantastic - only shame here was that it didn't come with jam.
They make a lovely latte and cappuccino.
Fantastic value for money and I will definitely be returning :-D
We have just had a lovely lunch at the picture cafe, staff friendly & can't do enough for you. Food was great, massive thumbs up! Thankyou!
Thank you so much to the staff this lunchtime for your care and attention to one gluten free veggie and one with a caffeine allergy.
Cracking breakfast - delicious coffee too - would highly recommend to everyone. Won't be long before I'm back 👍
I’ve been to the cafe a few times before and tonight we have had our works Christmas dinner, I have to say the service and food were amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. X x x
Love this place for Sunday breakfast. Good choice, excellent quality and good value. Can be very busy but that's its success.
Great cafe, nice atmosphere and staff. Food is also good. How can people go to costa when this is here!
Brilliant little market square cafe, simple good food and a wonderful atmosphere plus lovely staff.
Lovey spot to sit in the sun across the road! Fries were really great, steak sandwich and prawn Avocado sandwich fairly priced and very fresh! Cappuccino was perfect as was the service, everything came out very fast considering every table was full! Overall a lovely find!
Fantastic brunch in the sun.
My wife and I went for brunch today, and we will be back, my wife opted for the Eggs Benedict, which were perfect, eggs were just runny enough, while I opted for the pancake stack with banana and butterscotch syrup, the pancakes were light and fluffy, for dessert I went with the lemon and blueberries cake, this again was perfect. A final point is that were sat outside on the market cross, service was excellent and not rushed, staff are happy and very friendly, a highly recommend 10/10
Brunch
Stopped in today for Brunch, but we actually sat outside in the Market Square, the food was excellent, my wife's Eggs Benedict were just runny enough, while my pancakes with banana and butterscotch were light and fluffy, coffee for my wife as normal but I opted for a banana milkshake, which was thick and very tasty, cake for dessert was lemon and blueberries this was so light and tasty. The staff are friendly but not overly hurried, it was very relaxed and we will be back again.
We found ourselves child free and craving brunch. After being told it was a 45 minute wait at the garden centre, we stumbled up No Sixteen in Bingham.
Decorated smartly, we were quickly sat down. The staff are friendly and we had a good chat with them. We got our food and wow, what a breakfast selection.
Never been to Bingham before, would return just for this delicious restaurant.
Number Sixteen is spot on.
It’s in a convenient location overlooking Bingham Buttercross Memorial on Market Square 🙂
Chris and his team are always welcoming. They're friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. For a pre-Christmas catch up we couldn’t have picked a better venue.
We opted for:
☕️ Tea & coffee
🥚 Spinach omelette served with homemade Boston beans, cheese and crispy bacon off the specials menu. This had been enthusiastically sold to us and were sooo glad it was! I would have been jealous if Sue had this and I hadn’t. It was mouthwateringly good.
FINAL WORD: It’s not my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last.
Love this place! I come here every time I come to Nottingham. The food is delicious with good portions, great quality produce and nicely presented. The background music helps to create a very relaxed vibe.
Best of all are the staff who always meet you with a big smile and a friendly face. Thank you ❤️
Great place, the owner welcomed us in and was very friendly. We had a lovely salted Carmel cake each with hot chocolate and a cappuccino. The atmosphere was very relaxed, had great background music and the staff where all very attentive. Would recommend and definitely visit again when next in Bingham.
Quality food presented well. Service is what 'local customer care' is all about. A delightful cafe experience. Outside seating on the square is available too.
Very enjoyable experience, excellent food and attentive staff.
Don't know why it's not called number one, cos that's what this place is! Fantastic food, which is well priced. Good service and friendly staff (one was a bit scary with her enthusiasm but she meant well). Hope they get there mitchelian star soon. Bravo, bravo all!
Had a lovely breakfast here which catered for my gluten and dairy free requirements. They did a beautiful soya latte!! Highly chuffed. Place is lovely and clean.
We had the pleasure of going to number 16 for breakfast this week and what a wonderful experience friendly staff and excellent food I would recommend you trying this restaurant
Superb service, friendly staff, delicious coffee and prices that aren't unreasonable are just a fee of the reasons I would recommend Number Sixteen at Bingham! The owner is personable and attentive which made me feel really special as a customer. They prepared me a dairy free egg on toast with an oat milk latte! Awesome!!
Nothing is too much trouble. Just look how accommodating they were with my 🐕 too...post covid...
Defo recommend!! Go, you will be glad you did!
Went to Bingham and popped in for lunch, never been before, had the goats cheese salad and my husband had the steak sandwich, fantastic food, will definitely be back, lovely to sit in the sunshine, staff were all lovely and friendly 😊.
That extra star for that extra little bit of service ... pitched up on my 'health' day and stared sadly at the 'out of bounds' cakes. Muttering my dilemma to the server, was overheard by another - Mark - who came to my rescue offering a healthy option off-menu - primarily fruit with a few oats thrown in. Ok, so I cheated and agreed to a little honey too ... but it would have been fab with or without.
Staff were very friendly and professional. Service was of high standard and provided in a timely fashion. It was lovely to sit on Bingham Square which has great atmosphere. My only quibble would be that this place is quite expensive, I paid £9 for an English breakfast and got 1 sausage, tiny portion of baked beans and no hash brown. I think you can put up with the price due to being sat on Bingham Square. As a suggestion I'd recommend adding a bigger breakfast option to the menu.
Really great place serving quality food, great atmosphere in lovely location and good outside area.
