Wonderful food, reasonable prices, warm welckme every time, and fantastic staff. We have 2 very young children, and Tracy, Summer and Leah in particular always make a fuss of them. It's such a fab family environment and would encourage anyone to pop in.
Honestly at first I was put off by prices - but after coming here, it’s widened my view on food and customer service. The bar staff are exemplary - the manager Laura is amazing.
Food quality was out of this world. And the atmosphere was great when eating, staff ensured we were happy with our food.
Booked table for 7 people. Needed to add an extra 4, rang. Lady was very helpful and did this for me.
Parking is free, have to put registration in on machine inside. Was shown to our table by very friendly staff. All food came out together, nice and hot. We had sunday roast, fish and burgers. All was good. Staff checked everything was ok . Puddings took a little while but wasn't a problem. Came straight away after asking.
Restaurant was clean. Prices are very good. Had family with us from Devon and Coventry, all commented how good the prices were. Will definitely return.
Been here many times over the years but have to say the food and service now is fantastic, a friendly welcome fast service and pipping hot food, the fish and chips is highly recommended 👌 will definitely be back again and hopefully be a carvery back again soon, thank you 🙏
The Backfield Arms is one of my favourite places. The food is lovely and the staff are very friendly, highly recommended.
From the moment I walked in the staff were so kind and approachable, the food was amazing and the environment was calm and upbeat, free parking and wheelchair accessible to for those who need it, I would definitely recommend this place for the food, as I had a mixed grill- staff asked me exactly how I’d like it, the portions were amazing and the prices are great to, If your ever in the area I would pop in and grab some good food and have a laugh with the staff as they are so welcoming! :) - Tyler
Everything was brilliant from the time we walked in even though we were 15 minutes late this still wasn’t a problem. The staff were fantastic and the food was great and very reasonably priced. They also let us use my wife’s blue light card on their offers. Exceptional we will definitely be returning. Party of 10 all plates cleaned and no complaints 5 ⭐️
Lovely atmosphere. Greeted with a smile from Hannah she was an amazing hostess she even remembered what our drinks were. She is an amazing hostess and would definitely recommend to family and friends

Always a friendly welcome from all staff, food always comes out hot and presented well... Easy to make changes to meals to suit yourself and always a cold, crisp pint! Added bonus of a beer garden and play area! Definitely worth a visit!
Nice pub, food was good and didn't have to wait too long. Was pretty quiet at Sunday lunch, had fish and chips , batter was nice and light. New car parking charges , pay before you go in, refunded off your bill, could cause issues if there's a delay with food or a guest is running late as you need to decide in advance how long you are staying for, go high as it's refunded anyway . Toilets nice and clean .
Popped in for dinner Saturday afternoon. Very busy for the FA cup final.
Service and food were both impeccable.

Visited for lunch. We had a great service from the lady who served us, unfortunately we did not get her name.
She was really considerate and respected my allergy to nut. She served us well.
Just one suggestion. I ordered the halluemi and red pepper baguette. There was not much filling in the sandwich. It needs a salad with the filling.
Otherwise we will be back.
Enjoyed the visit, staff friendly ordered from the table , though an app would be easier. Drinks arrived quickly and didn’t have long to wait for our meal. Which was very good
Food average and came out in within a few minutes considering it was busy I was impressed unlike the cocktails. I thought 2 for £9 was a bargain ...... could be mistaken for mocktail -very weak and not worthy.
Safe environment however had to pay for parking and reimbursed money when we ordered food.
This is a great pub for a cheap but generous meal out. The food was all pretty good and the portions were massive at a fantastic price. They also have a few deal nights and activity nights i.e. curry night and quiz night . If that's something that you are interested in.
